Uh...Spencer was matched up with Bargnani because he's a center, and Jason/Landry were matched up with Bosh because they were PFs.

Dude really? So in the 26 minutes Spencer didn't play Landry guarded Bargnani because he was a PF, too, right? I know you pledge allegiance to Spencer Hawes but at least make sense when you do so. Spencer didn't matchup with Bosh because he can't do it. That's the only reason.
KANGZZZZZ!

What? I'm just saying that that was the reason that Spencer guarded the opposing teams center is because he is a center. I don't see what that has to do with what happened when he was out of the game.
And honestly, read the posts I've made. I'm not some kind of Hawes-lover by any means. All I've said in the past is that I didn't think people should give up on him when it appeared that people did. You took that as some kind of end-all bias I have towards Hawes, that I simply don't have. I have criticized Spencer countless times in the past for not showing up to summer league, and for his horrible finishing ability, among other things.
For the record, I'm not even taking part in the argument about who's a better defender between him and JT. My point was simply that it makes more sense for PFs to guard PFs, generally speaking. Spencer probably wouldn't have done as good a job on Bosh because he would be guarding out of position. That's the crazy, Hawes-loving statement I'm making.
