Caron's Blog
Would like to know your thoughts on Caron's Blog. http://blogs.hoopshype.com/blogs/butler ... ak-for-me/ I think to help this team get to the next level it would nice to pickup an experienced PG to backup Arenas or move Arenas to the SG. What's your thoughts on this blog?

Re: Caron's Blog
Going into next season the starters at PF and C should be Blatche and McGee.
Arenas will be the starting PG because there really is not any other option, and he makes far too much money to sit on the bench.
Thornton is not a great starting SF but he is passable.
I think a pure PG would be nice, but it is about 4th on the priority list of needs for the Wizards.
Wizards needs:
1. starting SG - The Wizards have no starting caliber SG. This is the top priority to address.
2. back-up C - McGee at times is shaky so a back-up center is important. Also Blatche is much more effective at PF, so that increases the importance of this position.
3. back-up SF - ideally this would be a guy who can push Thornton or replace him if he struggles
4. back-up PG - this is more important if Livingston does not seem like a keeper, less if he looks like a solid 20 mpg guy.
5. back-up SG - Miller resigned cheaply may fill in here and address number 3 also
6. back-up PF - I think Singleton fills this role for the next season at least

agree with 5

How about making Gilbert our shooting guard? Caron said he's a SG and that the Wiz didn't have a PG to make them better.
