I think McGee is going to start racking up some higher rebound games.

He looks more focused and hungry to go get the ball.

Gee at the end made it all worth watching.

Way to coach it up Flip. Saving Livingston till the end was almost brilliant.

My quality lose streak comes to an end.

But we did drop to #5

Man we have by far the worst PG play in the league. I think we have the worst PG play in even the D-Leauge or College. In there defense though, I will say that I think Flip's O looks horrible alot of times and all the plays are too long, too drawn out, phases guys out the Offense, and limits others espically the PG's. Its just a bad combination of poor PG play and a poorly designed Offense on alot of occasions. Even the Pistons fans say that Flip is the complete opposite of an Offensive Genuis that people make him out to be. I guess we will have to wait until next year when we get Gil and some others to find out for sure but I also hope that he either makes some changes or adds a little more to the Offense because its so predictable at times. In his defense though, Foye & Boykins suck

Thankfully I didn't watch the game. Who are these people that want to keep MM around next year. What an awful line. Only two good things come from this game: 1) more ping pong balls, 2) blatche kept his TO's down. Pretty much other than that epic fail everywhere. Epic fail for the Terps, epic fail for the skins, LJ, please guys, Vinny still calling the shots? That's a Joe Gibbs move if I ever saw one.

Holy crap did some of our guys look like All-stars tonight... Will Bynum and Max had some HUGE games tonight.

But anyways, I can't lie, I really like the way Blatche and McGee are coming along. Both raw still, but they have solid NBA bodies and look like they'll be rotation players if not solid starters for some time, Blatche especially.

Thornton was a nice pickup, hope u guys hang onto him.

I hope McGee becomes at least a solid starter, and I'm pretty sure that Blatche is moving beyond that, but if you look at the lines for their starting C and PF (Jerebko and Maxiell) versus Blatche and McGee, you could see why they might not have been too impressed, especially w/ McGee, but Blatche only got to the FT line once. Not a great looking game for the Wizards.

Aint nothing nice about telling a fan base that their current 23 year old 24 and 10 player will be a solid rotational player.....lmao

Yea, 24 and 10, for 2 weeks.

Blatche is coming on strong... always had game, but you can't judge a player on a small sample size. Overreact much?

If we can judge players by small sample sizes, Maxiell's a double double machine, and Bynum is the best passer in the league.

Whatever dude. You can have your opinion, but don't get all offended when we laugh at that opinion.

Blatche has been extremely consistent as a starter. Basically, he's been good for 24 and 10 in every single game since the Jamison trade. That's not just a hot streak. That's a player breaking out because he was given the opportunity. (And it's been a month, not two weeks.)

Wait, the season didnt just start after the all-star break? Well here, it did and as long as Blatche is starting, thats what he's doing. Doesnt matter if its against good teams and W like DEN or against bad teams and a L like DET, he's doing it. The sample size is growing, he's not there yet... but i think he could be viewed as a cornerstone/building block, not a rotational player.

All this after I complimented him LOL. After that I got a Jonas Jerebko bash... (who's damn impressive) and a bunch of insults.

Thanks for the visit guys! Made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

For the record, I like Blatche a lot, not sure if he's a cornerstone player yet, but hey, to each his own. And I did say "solid starter."

No one here is taking "solid rotation player" as a compliment. It's an insult.

ZaZa Pachulia is a solid rotation player. Jeff Foster is a solid rotation player.

You have to excuse Master Shake...his comprehension skills are not developed yet. He still has trouble putting simple concepts together, and for that, I feel sorry for the guy.

Just to clarify, OP never said "solid rotation player." I Believe it was "look like they'll be rotation players if not solid starters." I think a rotation player is a player in the rotation, and the phrase "they'll be" implies they're not there yet. So someday, they might be "solid starters," but as of now, they have yet to establish their status as "rotation players."

Oh well, McGee didn't look that good tonight, and Blatche has looked better. Unless a team's a big winner, only its biggest (and mostly hometown) fans will know such things as: Jamison and Butler may have been dragging the Wizards down; Blatche may very quickly be a step up from Jamison and provide interior scoring that Jamison never could; McGee has huge downside but very real all-star upside; and with the return of Arenas added to Blatche and McGee, two 1sts and a high 2nd, and some prudent acquisitions for defense, height, depth, and toughness (and possibly resigning Howard for scoring), the Wizards could be good again very soon. But only a close follower of the team might be aware of that possibility.
