Great news, along with the Collins signing.

I'm gonna bring PBGZ's party over here...

If he an incredible player? No, but D-line depth is a very important thing to have. I'm glad he'll be back.

I saw this pop up on twitter when I was already on my way to the Bucks game. Great news.

There are also rumblings that they are close to resigning Tauscher.

If we resigned Tauscher, I think we could draft BPA for pretty much the entire draft... Anytime you can do that it is awesome, IMO.

Yep, especially in a draft as deep as this one.

I have this feeling that the Collins and Picket deals might have been done earlier in the week and TT saved them to make a splash at Fan Fest. Would make sense and I don't blame him. Bunch of happy fans there yesterday I would imagine, women throwing themselves at him, men wanting to be him, you know that sort of thing :P

Tauscher is a great guy and loyal Packer, but i wouldn't give him much guaranteed money. He looked like he was moving with ankle weights on last year even though he somehow was still able to be a solid pass protector. I'm hoping Lang takes control of either the LG or RT job and if it ends up being RT, i wonder if the team would still keep Tauscher on the roster then given he isn't able to play anything except RT?

Its about experience and depth in the pursuit of SB. Having both Tausch & Lang allows us to handle a few missed games by either without missing a beat. Barbe is crap. Breno cannot be counted on. A rookie is unknown. Tausch also allows Lang to play LT or LG in emergency.

Any deal Mark gets is basically a 1 yr deal regardless and we can afford it this year being uncapped.
IF TT is smart and it appears he gets it - we can afford to spend $ if we put alot of it into this uncapped year w/o hurting future.

Another great extension, keeps our D-Line nice and solid. Can't wait to see where we go with this draft!
