Matchup

Well, if there is any game where we might not need James Harden's services it's this one. The Nets are a disater of epic proportions. Yi Jianlian will miss the game for the Nets, Josh Boone should start in his place.

Kyle Weaver was recalled due to Harden's injury and should see his first action in quite awhile against the lowly Nets. He's currently sitting 6th in the league in PER. Expect that to dip just a little.

The Nets really have no advantage aside from center and Nenad Krstic actually had his best game of the year last time out, as Brook Lopez stuggled with his shot and had foul trouble.

Should be another win.

Some Numbers

The Nets have by far the worst offense in the league. We're a top three defense. There's no reason this Nets team should score more than 90 points against us.

A Question

How will Brooks adjust the rotations with James Harden out?

What a slopy performance.. the end of this game was real worrisome. I had a feeling the bench would be poor with Maynor, Weaver, Ibaka, Collison (they were, except Collison) but man, what was Russ doing this game? All those turnovers. Really sloppy.

I'm really worried about the next few weeks without Harden. Maynor and Weaver is not a good backcourt at all. Ibaka's too inconsistent. Our bench is just really bad..

Yeah Harden is a real nice scoring weapon to bring off the bench. No one else can really score like he can on the bench.

Howeva!

You could start Ibaka. Then have Green and Weaver come in off the bench to replace Ibaka and Thabo. Give Durant about 42 minutes a night.

But I don't see Brooks changing the line up. But Ibaka might get a few more touches.

There is also the option of a Maynor and Westbrook back court which I think has some legs.

This is a situation where I think DJ White could have been helpful in place of either Ibaka (who was very poor defensively in this one BTW) or Collison for some minutes with the second unit. White is skilled offensively and that unit has no offense with Harden out..
