Current contracts are cancelled.

A group of investors with lotsa money decides to create a startup League, hoping to take advantage of the lockout by luring the Big names of the NBA to their shiny, new, player-friendly teams.

In a league not run by stern, it's hard to take lebron, man. I'd go with the best big in the game, Dwight. I'd even take Kobe or Wade over lebron b/c they've proven they know how to win. You guys seem to forget how ineffective Lebron is when they actually call traveling and palming of the ball (aka international games or olympics). But then that's assuming these "new league creators" get real referees and not the crap the NBA calls "refs."
