Thanks for the jinx!!! You know better than to predict a win..

I want to see how Hill fares against Yi or Lopez that is what I will be watching.. If we have Lowry/Ariza/Batt for D I'm not too worried but this same team beat the Celtics..

we barel beat new jersey last time we played them, good thing its a home game and we had 3 days rest and everyones back . i dont care tho more losses = better draft pick , and i dont want jersey to have the worst record in nba history, so since rockets suck **** why not give them the win. just let brooks, lowry, and shane have good stats cuz i really need it like a mother :(

I want us to make playoffs for more "Experience".

It would be good for them to see how they do without Yao in the playoffs.

I think the PO for you guys is a bit a long shot now. The Rockets has to get hot. REAL HOT. i.e. 7-10 winning streak or something and hope teams like Portland fall down.

That's how I see it.

But who knows? Anything can happen.

they have an idea of how good they are w/o yao last playoffs . i was for the playoffs but this 6 game strech was a good indicator if we have any chance left for the playoffs. 2 terrible losses proves to me that this team isnt making it, and doesnt want to. they're just gonna build some chemistry w/ the new players. none of the bottom 4 seeds in the west are gonna drop out. rockets had plenty chancs but blew it.

Yup, we don't know how to finish games and that's not something you learn overnight. With young teams, they think they can take it easy with a 6-8 point lead with 2-3 mins left. But when the other team gets close they get scared and start shooting jumpers and rushing shots. Even Kevin martin does that b/c he's never been on a winning team. We really need to get yao back or some offense veteran leadership to teach these fools how to finish strong.

I think it has to do with our "maternal" generation where if you cont. to play hard and blow out a team, it's "bad sportsmanship." Anyways, Go Rox!!! don't forget, NJN played last night in OKC. Soooo they'll either be in rhythm or fatigued. We'll see.....

He was much better than I credit him for.

I never knew he has a very good shooting touch at 16-23 feet range. He is attempting a career high 4.3 attempts at that range (compare back to Houston: 1.9 attempts) and converting at a 48%! That's crazy good for any player in general. Also, he has a very good touch around the rim too.

High energy player. Very productive. He is what he was advertised in Houston. He may not be as dynamic as before with Houston because he is the starting PF for us.

His rebounding and defense may be not up to speed with his offense, but I could live with that.

....

How's Martin for you guys?

He's No Carl Landry, that's for damn sure. Martin seems to be adjusting well to the shift in the style of offense. I would still take back the trade in a heartbeat, but that's because I have a Man crush for Landry, and thought we should NEVER have traded him in the first place. (Although Hill appears to be a pretty solid pick up, credit where credit is due.) You want Hill, and we'll take Landry back?

Thought not. Any team that has/gets Landry is bloody lucky. I think good things are happening in Sac town, and like the Thunder, your team will again be a force in the next couple of years. You just need a really solid centre, (ala Vlade Divac) and Sactown can be a serious contender. I feel you guys got the better end of the deal, but that is a matter of personal opinion. Many here will disagree with me.

Yi won't be playing he's hurt, Courtney Lee will most likely play but his minutes will probably be limited if he gets off to a start like he did last night - he's suffering from a sprained thumb...

Patti smith says Adelman likes Jordan Hill and that he isn't developing Jordan he actually earned his spot in practice. that's pretty cool and extremely promising..
