Best power rankings yet.

Post#1 » by Dexmor » Sun Mar 14, 2010 2:07 am

1.Mavericks-Wow. One swift move and wow. They have just become bigger then the Lakers, they have the tallest team in the league, Haywood-Dirk-Marion-Butler-Kidd-Terry-JJ Barea. I am scared of them. Lakers have no pg's but the Mavs have 3 who can school FIsher and Farmar. They have Butler and Marion to throw on Kobe and he has to guard Butler to. Dirk is better the Gasol and Haywood not an offense threat but his D is to the point were you don't need double teams.

2.Cavs-Now they actually have a 1-2-3 threat and one of them is Lebron. Lebron vs 5 players is a playoff team but actually having a big 3 plus depth at all positions

3.Magic-I put the Cavs over them last year and was wrong. Will I be again?

4.Lakers-Once the post season starts Lakers jump to 1st to me with Kobe but right now there not the best regular season wise. Plus I can't be bias it's possible the Mavs take them out. Im not worried about the Cavs as much as I thought I would be with the Jamison move but the Mavs scare the heck out of me.

5.Denver-Sent to third best team in the West after the Mavs deal. Not really the threat tot eh Lakers that Mavs are.

6.Hawks-They are just so damm deep. They are expierenced now, young athletic and Crawford has really helped them.

7.Thunder-2nd best sf in the game and Russell Westbrook has been the best pg this year imo. People called me crazy for having him as a top 5 pg in the game but he is.

8.Suns-Playing Lopez and Amare is a good change.

9.Celtics-They are just falling apart. Question is will Brian Scalebrine step up and be a 25 and 12 guy for them. J/K

10.Bobcats-Assuming Crash comes back within 3 games and the addition of Hughes and Tyrus and Theo and Tyson coming back means they are poised to go on a big winning streak.

11.Utah-Don't care how they are playying now. They got no shot.

12.Spurs-With TP out Hill and RJ are playing better and Parker should be back for the playoffs. If not though then there better off in the lotto.

13.Bucks-They have been balling. Salmons and Jennings and Bogut have been awesome.

14Portland-How have they kept winning? Nate is awesome.
.
15.Heat-If only the Heat would have drafted Mayo or Lopez. Beasley is a good scorer but can't board to save his life and is a headcase.

16.Raptors-slipping lately but Bosh was out.

Yes they are my personal power rankings. For the regular season anyway.

Bobcats rated to high? Don't believe it. Up until now we haven't had Tyson-Tyrus-Hughes-Theo

That;s alot.
Imagine next year assuming the keep the 4 free agents and they have a full camp together.

You can disagree or put who is not ranked right but you don't have to insult me. Does it make you feel good putting others down?
I don't see you making a list like that. You think it's easy? You think everybodys gonna agree.

Play nice please guys and keep the discussion away from a place where people might feel personally disrespected.

Dexmor, I don't think at this time you can put us ahead of the Bucks. They've been consistently playing at a high level for the past 2 months. Other than that, I pretty much disagree with everything else you wrote.

16.Raptors  That I agree with! Guess we won't be hearing from tsherkin  during the summer.

Hi, Blazer fan. Just was lurking he boards as I like your team a lot and came to this thread. No gripes about the rankings, but I have to correct you on one thing: Nate is anything, but awesome. Our talent is awesome, Nate sucks. Thank you.

Meh, either/or. The way you guys have come on and beaten some of the better teams in the league has been great and it would seem that the Jackson trade as paid dividends. I don't get to pay to close attention to your team, but I like it a lot and how they have come on this season. Of course, the Blazer have been just slaughtered by injuries, but that is the nature of the beast for you. All I know is I am pulling for you guys in the East, your team knows how to straight play D it seems like and that could prove a great benefit come playoff time. The only downfall is the lack of playoff experience, but who knows! Best of luck to you guys the rest of the way!
