If LeBron made that block it would be a top 10 play.
Josh making some plays tonight!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Nice to see the Hawks come out like they mean business for a change.

We're at home, the opponent doesn't care, and there's no pressure. Pretty easy to come out with good execution and intensity in those circumstances. This means nothing.

Keep it positive. No need to slight a good effort. Come on baby :D

Good teams who are playing for something usually beat the crap out of teams who are missing key starters & aren't playing for anything. The Hawks haven't been doing that lately so this is refreshing to see.

^^ I disagree. It will be refreshing when we show similar effort when facing adversity against a good team. We are going to blow out teams like this every now and then on talent alone.

We haven't been doing that though. The Hawks have lost games they had no business losing due to a lack of intensity and playing down to the opposition.

Sure enough to start the 3rd they are going through the motions.

Bibby with another stellar game, 2 field goals and two turnovers.

Complacency reared its head tonight.
Josh with another good game.
We arent committed to rebounding for 48 minutes.
I guess Jamal is fully healed!
Would of liked to see the Hawks win by 60+ but will take this win!

Quick remark and question.
Up 28 at the half with Teague finishing the 1st half with a confidence builder, why not start the 3rd with Teague (in place of Bibby) with all the other starters?
Nothing to loose. To the contrary may bring more focus to the erest of the team, knowing that we are well known to let go big leads in the 3rd and giving a chance to the kid to play with the starter.
I don't get it. Who can tell me now that Teague will turn out better than Acie?
So far, they are following similar paths. That would be the number one thing that I would reproach to Woodson...Surprise us at times, please! I can coach from my sofa since most of the games are coached the same way!

Teague should have at least gotten in the game in the 2nd half, especially with Bibby getting punk'd by Will Bynum. Bibby scored 7 pts in 29 minutes. not impressed.

Again, our rotation in the PO will be six players, including JC.
Zaza, Joe, Mo and Teague will sparingly see PT based on foul trouble only. Too bad . Hopefully, we will be set in terms of positioning for the PO early enough so reserves, including Teague, will see PT by the end of the regular season and our starters can buy some "recovery" time.
Zaza, Joe and Mo have been there, no big deal but Teague will see 3-5 minutes a game MAX (if any at all) in PO if not tested before.
His rookie wall is called Woodson, just like for Acie...

Return to Atlanta Hawks
