Do you guys think Shonn Greene is the real deal? That he could fill in for TJ nicely?
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?

Not to the football part I like the signing, IMHO this is all on Jones they can talk all they want to about he gave them a chance but and he was productive but being realistic both Jone and LT are back ups on this team. The difference Jones does not know it and with our line last year he should have had longer runs. great yr but he seemed worn down. LT will produce the similar number to Jones if they were both on the jets next the difference will be game changing plays I think LT can give 1 or 2 plays a game in a limited role as apposed to Jones who needs the ball 20 to 30 times to break a 10 + yard run

Thanks

You're going to have to talk to your fellow moderators of those respective teams' boards.

So it wasn't a "get this off the Knicks board" post - it was a "show some love for the football board" post.

That's cool.

RGM's other sports boards are kinda dead and I'm not sure that's something that can be easily resolved.

I visited the mets board a few times, but it's so much more rewarding to discuss baseball elsewhere.

Agreed, but I see so much traffic on the basketball board about other sports (not just here). It's worth an attempt to charge up the other forums. We've all got to start somewhere.

NY has only ONE LT. That is the former LB of the Giants. However, it is good the Jets got Tomlinson, if he has anything left in his tank.

Wow, Jones left this past week to sign with the Chiefs?

We don't expect him to be LT or a starter either.

It's against the rules to do a short OT post to inform Knicks fans about important stuff happening to other NY teams?

It was a simple request made by a Jets Board moderator to get a topic moved to a board to allow more traffic to another forum.

Thanks. I wasn't asking to be a prick, I was just rying to clarify so I know the rules. I;m always interested as I used to a forum mod and later a "global mod" on another site.
All in all he's just another prick with no wall

This team is built to win now and in the future. Gotta love what Tannenbaum has put together over the past few years. Let's see how the safety situation plays out and add some depth through the draft and let's go to town.

Haven't been this excited about a football season in a while.

I agree, this team is built to win now with a view on the future.. we have a ton of young pieces and signing LT doesn't compromise anything long term.. If he can regain any of his old form he will be great for 10-15 carries a game along with green who will get the rest of the load...

Greene is most definitely the real deal. However I do have some concerns with his ability to stay healthy over the length of a season and his longevity in the league because of how physical he is. But if he can stay healthy the boy is a bulldozer with breakaway speed which is a pretty rare combo IMO.
