The Trailblazers are very pleased to sign Joel Freeland and Petteri Koponen to guaranteed rookie contracts.

Both players enjoyed very successful 2010 seasons overseas and we felt that they were ready to make the jump to the NBA.

In 20 minutes per game, the big and athletic 23yo Freeland put up 11.5/4.9 on 58% shooting, posting a PER of 23.7, good for 7th in the league.

In 26.5 minutes per game, the 21yo scoring pg Koponen averaged 10.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.5 steals on 53% from the field and 44% from three.

approved, both guys have buyouts with their European clubs that their agent and/or Prichard said would not affect their signings when the time came.

Minnesota has not matched and was informed via email of the signing, approved

Why give me 36 hours to match if you're going to make a decision before that time is up?

EDIT: Just figured the email should have been sent on the 13th not the 15th, I've been out of town for a couple of days with nothing but the phone is all.

Well I haven't gotten a response from Mascot, which kind of sucks I guess. Really wanted to keep Brewer but it looks as though that it won't be possible.

Can I please have some clarification as to why Q-Rich decided to sign with Philly of all places when I offered slightly more cash.

Especially as he knows Phoenix and had his statistical best years with the team.

the offer that I have from you for qrich is the LLE.

I will check through them again but thats what i have.

EDIT:
I would like to offer the BE to Quentin Richardson, starting at $2m and rising over 3 years. I feel his excellent season in Miami means he will have a significant opportunity to play, roughly 24 mins a game backing up the SF and SG posiitions.

the BE is
$1,500,000
$1,620,000

for two years only.

Ok thanks for the clarification, although I would have appreciated if you could have informed me before he signed elsewhere as clearly I was prepared to offer him $2m per year and rising over 3 years.

I have gone through all the emails, but i have at least 10 offers for every guy that is a min offer. so basically i have 10 different teams offering a player the same deal. that means when i get time to look at them all ill sign him to the best fit.
