Post#1 » by verticalhops » Thu Mar 18, 2010 10:30 am

Darko is looking good. Lets forget bout the number 2 pick. He is a big man that has a huge ceiling. What is darko's ceiling if he stays with the wolves next year?

Agreed, your first post in this thread brought some amazing insight into Darko's game. The Darko thread couldnt hold a serbian jockstrap to the extensive research you have brought to this thread.... :D

It's 10 pages long and ADHD is killing our youth. You can't expect him to have the attention span, or intelligence, to read all of that.

This thread is now about the High School Girls Basketball State Tournament. There, value added.

Go Wayzata! I'm not a Trojan, but I heard they won yesterday, thus the only team that I know is still in it. But I could be wrong.

Ooh, are they in it? I could support the Bombers. Are you from that area? Do they have a sister playing?

Is Bemidji in it? Crap! I went to Bemidji State! I feel I should support them too.

Ok, I have three teams, Wayzata, Bemidji, and Braham. I don't have confirmation that any of them are actually in the tournament, but here's hoping.

Two Dahlmans playing for Braham. Rebekah is already the girls all-time leading scorer for Braham, and she's a freshman. Her older sister Hannah is the 2nd all-time leading scorer. I did go to Braham high school.

I think I knew you were a Bomber. My memory is shot as well. I have a ton of friends from the Cambridge, Isanti, Mora area.

Seriously, all-time leading scorer as a freshman? Did she start in 7th or 8th grade?

@OP: All that is missing in this thread is that you say it would even have been a good deal if we had traded Darko for our pick.

I haven't paid too close attention until this year, but I'd assume she started in 7th grade. Either that, or my dad got the Dahlmans mixed up (he's where I get my Braham info) but I know Rebekah is averaging 30 ppg this year.

Are they still growing giants in Braham? What's the population there anyway? When I played them in high school, the whole team was so tall. Is there some sort of toxic-waste dump mutation action going on?

The population is something like 1500. The team seems so tall because half of them are Dahlmans, I don't know that the town is especially tall. At least it wasn't when I went to school.

Ross Siler: One Jazz player had no idea Darko Milicic still was in the NBA, let alone starting for the Timberwolves tonight.
