Did we make Jermaine Dye an offer?

Post#1 » by Relentless88 » Thu Mar 18, 2010 5:53 pm

I was just looking through my fantasy team and different players in an ESPN league and saw that Jermaine Dye was still an FA. When I clicked his name this is what it said;

Dye turned down offers for a part-time role from the Angels and Cubs and offer from Toronto that included a starting job but was for what he felt was too little money. It sounds like he's going to have to wait for someone to get hurt or eventually settle for a fourth outfielder role somewhere.

Snider in left, Wells in center, so I guess AA is looking for a right fielder?

I wonder as well. This is a guy who is good for 30 HR's a year and often flirts with 100 RBI's. It's really hard to believe he can't catch on somewhere unless he has some seriously unrealistic expectations.
