Although it would get us ripped because he's another PF, I'd love to see us draft Favors if we missed out on Wall/Turner. I think he could play center, assuming he's long and athletic enough. He's still a very young freshman, so he's got time to grow and fill out still.

Of course I'm assuming that Jefferson gets moved for a SG or SF this summer.

I'd go with Monroe or Favors in that situation, then look to trade either Al or Love for a wing.

I don't really mind that situation, I like both Monroe and Favors. The only problem would be the massive chain reaction it would set off down the roster (unless they're planning on dealing Al anyway).

I agree with Favors at #3. Monroe, I love, but I don't really love him next to Al or Love. In that sense, taking Monroe might mean trading both of our front court players eventually. Favors on the other hand, I could see playing next to Jefferson or Love.

#4 becomes even more of a dicey situation. At that point I would hope to trade Cousins. If we couldn't find a trade partner I wouldn't know what to do. I'd reach for Johnson, I guess.

I don't know, I could see keeping Cousins if he measures out big enough. The guy is a beast.

That's what she said.

Sorry, had to get that out of the way.

I think Monroe, like Favors, has a chance to fit next to either player (Love moreso than Al in both cases). I don't think think either would fit next to both Love and Al, and either Favors or Monroe could lead to dealing both eventually.

I agree with Worm on keeping Cousins. Another pick that could cause some dominoes to fall, but it's tough to pass on him at #4. If not Cousins then I'd go with Aldrich.

If we don't land the #1 or #2 in the lottery, Wall nor Turner will be Wolves. There isn't a snowballs chance in hell that we will be able to trade UP to nab either one ... 100% no chance.

We get lucky or we don't. End of story.

So you are saying that the NJ Nets would never consider, say, Favors + Rubio for Wall? Wouldn't even pick up the phone the next time we called? Cuz I think they'd consider that, and I wouldn't pull the trigger on that one personally.

I'd rather have Rubio and Favors.

Agreed. I'd keep them and then trade Love or Jefferson, and probably Flynn.

For instance, if we were forced to take Favors, I'd probably be down for Krapinsky's Jefferson for Prince + Pistons 1st (~7-9) deal, pick up Aldrich with that pick, and roll with a frontcourt of Aldrich/Favors/Love and use Flynn, Pekovic, picks, and cap space to improve the wing positions.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.
