lilfishi, it's about underrating or overrating. If you consider both equally good but everybody only want to give Amare 14 mil a year and only for 3 years, while Bosh would be offered the max by the same people, it is clear who is under- or overrated.

Unlike Amare, Bosh doesn't have any future injury concerns. Unlike Amare, Bosh is a franchise player. Unlike Amare, Bosh is everything to the team.

I think Bosh is worth more than Amare because Amare is one-dimensional. Bosh is a comparable scorer, better rebounder and an excellent leader; Amare just scores. Their difference is comparable to the difference between Wade or Roy to Redd. They can all drop 30 on any given night, but it's the difference in leadership and the intangibles that sets them apart. Bosh can and will do *everything* to pull out a win, all Amare can do is score.

FWIW I don't think Bosh is worth the max, but then again I think only 5 maybe 6 players are worth max (Kobe, Lebron, Wade, CP3, Melo and Dwight).

Bosh is a sissy, and Amare is the future of NBA, as Shaq so eloquently put it. Injury concern is the only issue one could hold against the beast in favor of the sissy. Now, he is finally healthy, you will witness the beast dominate in the playoffs again, when Nash gets closely contained by the defense. lol

On the contrary. I think most Suns fans would tell you that the problem occurs when we don't give Amare the ball consistently.

Regardless dantian hit on it:

I think that sums it up.
