Good stat line, even in the d-league.
I think, much like Dragic, Earl just needs to find the right kind of confidence.
When he's on an NBA court, I think he may feel like there is a lot of preasure to perform. He just needs to let the game come to him. He needs to get more comfortable. Once that happens, the game slows down a bit mentally and you are able to put things together more quickly, without it actually being a rushed and frenetic style of play.

Re: Dakota Wizards @ Iowa Energy (Earl Clarks time to shine!)
Clark started at small forward for the 33-11 team and played 35 minutes there. He made his first six shots, hit five of eight jumpers and scored 25 in three quarters before Dakota double-teamed him.
"The biggest thing he did was his decision-making was great all night long," Iowa coach Nick Nurse said. "He took it to the rim. He took open jumpers. He passed to teammates when it was the right play. His basketball IQ looked really high to me. And he worked really hard on the defensive end and glass."
According to hunter Clark is incapable of any of that

According to hunter, Clark would have a better career flipping burgers.

In fantasy land, where I live as a Suns fan, I like to think that Clark is some how absorbing through osmosis Grant Hill's amazing point-forward abilities...... ahhhh.
I like fanatsy land.
Still, the 5 ast give me hope.

Re: Iowa Energy @ Sioux Falls Skyforce
Tucker was productive in the D-League as well, but Clark doesn't have the natural talent limits which Tucker had that held him back in the NBA.
Tucker was a very productive scorer in college and in the D-League, but he made his living scoring in the post, often playing PF. He didn't have the size to stay in the post vs NBA competition, and his overall shooting/slashing/handling/perimeter defensive ablities weren't good enuf to become a good NBA swingman.
Clark has a much better NBA body then Tucker with his size and athleticism, and a more well rounded potential skillset with his solid handles for a guy his size and much better defensive potential, so if he pans out well he won't be held back in the NBA like Tucker was.
Dude still has a long way to go, but he's got all it takes to become a very nice do-it-all roleplayer like Odom or Prince. Just needs to work relentlessly to catch up now.
