We always have long game threads. This game thread was especially long, but understandably so.

It sucks that Evans got hurt, but there is no way Ersan did that on purpose. I bet Tyreke doesn't even think it was. You had three very aggressive players going after the ball and one got hurt. It happens. I'd be shocked if he somehow got a fracture out of that.

Right.

Ilyasova only extended his elbow into Evans' jaw a whole foot after elbow-to-face contact was made.

I think we all know exactly what happened there. Ilyasova obviously bought into the urban myth that Nowitzki's late season stat surge was the result of him becoming stronger, faster, tougher, and smarter at spacing to help teammates rebound and score after he received an elbow implant consisted of three Landry tooth fragments. The intention of Ilyasova's post-contact elbow extension was obvious: He was trying to embed one of Evans' teeth into his right elbow.

Well, I got news for you, Ersan, it doesn't work like that, genius!

Yeah, and the proof it doesn't work was Ersan drilling a 3 while being fouled from 30 feet to tie the game less than a minute later.

Aren't the Bucks playing today against Denver? Go troll their board, not ours. Thanks.

So because he's a pasty white foreigner guy with crappy hair that makes him not a thug? I always thought it was what you did/how you played that made you something, not how you look.

I f you have actually ever PLAYED basketball, you would immediately recognize the difference between a legit motion (elbows by the sides to shake off the opposing player) and the motions made by Ersan Ileasova which were wild flailing multiple swings with the intention of clearing off anyone around and injuring if contact was made. It is very clear and distinctly different, and when it is done repetetively by a player with the knowledge that he has already injured one of the opposing teams players rather severely during the course of the game, it is painfully obvious that the action was then intentional.

I only hope that when the league office reviews this, they recognize it for what it is and suspend him accordingly. There is NEVER any good reason to go out and try to intentionally injure another player - even hockey and football have finally recognized that.

You are a joke. A complete joke.

The part where Evans got hurt was a completely legit rebound with Ersan bring down the ball so Landry didn't take it away. Is it his fault Reke jumped right underneath him? Maybe in your mind  . Maybe the little push off at the end, which had nothing to do with the injury at all, was a little much but holy ****, overreact much?

I didn't watch the play over or analyze it to any degree but it didn't look at all intentional to me. The play happened too fast, I don't see how anyone could even have the time to realize what was happening to intentionally do anything.
