Nothing to discuss. If the Suns signed him he wouldn't be able to play in the playoffs I believe. If he could play however, then a discussion might be worthwhile.

Signing him next year makes sense. This team needs perimeter D.

Not worried until we figure out what Amare is doing. And J-Rich has really stepped up and changed his game up. Plus if J-Rich starts doing terrible then we have his very attractive expiring contract.

his days as a premier defender are over. Raja will have a hard time finding a team next year.

Bell hasn't been able to play D in years.

No they're not. Anyone with consistant D and 3 point shooting will find a back-up SG role somewhere, hopefully here.

If it's for vets minimum that would be fine but any more is overpaying...Not to mention where is he going to get playing time with Richardson, Barbosa and Dragic in front of him?

2nd Team all defense in 2008. He's had a long time to rest those legs. Vets min would be perfect plus we get tougher.

depends on what we do with jrich and how LB performs

I dont want raja as a starter though. And with Dragic able to play the 2, I really dont see much need. 4 guards who deserve minutes is tough as is.

Exactly who knows that this team will look like next year. We could've used an extra guard this year with so many injuries.

J Rich is now a better defender then raja can be anymore. He has been overrated as a defender for a few years now. don't get me wrong, i love raja. but he is on the kg side of his career now

Yup. I could only see getting Bell for insurance policy which is okay IMO. I wouldn't really disprove of having Bell on the team I just think he'd find more playing time elsewhere.

Maybe it would be nice to move on and stop wanting to sign former Suns players. It's not like it's gonna be 2006 all over again. Not gonna happen.

ok? yes to anyone with consistant D and 3pt shooting but Raja is not that "anyone" anymore. He left PHX and his game declined. I know it's hard to accept but he's career as a contributer are pretty much over. He might stick around and be a mentor but that'll probably mean he'll find himself buried in some NBA bench.

I'd love him back but he wouldn't be eligible for a playoff roster. Kind of lame how the Dubs waited and took him out of the playoffs like that.

Raja's impact on this team cannot be analyzed solely through basketball performance.

Sign him. Bring him home. Now.
