you got it right. players have to be free agents/waived by march 1st. raja didn't meet that deadline. as far as newble, he was waived by the sonics on feb. 29th back in 2008, so he was eligible to play in the playoffs.

doesnt seem fair to a guy like bell though..getting traded then being waived after tha deadline and now he cant play for a playoff team.

am i the only one who feels that way?

Well Golden State should had wavied him on Feb 28th then or if we wanted him so bad we should had jump in the deal with the Warriors and the Bobcats in December thus sending someone up to north and Bell comes here.

Good luck in finding a taker for Sasha because we will need it.

Yeah I was thinking the same but I was sure Bell was hurt or injured. Also I thought I would get flamed for suggesting it.

You just don't get it do you they want his contract off the books completely so waiving is not an option.

sasha will be expiring contract, so waiving him would be just fine like snaquille suggests.

the only scenario where his contract is completely off the books is if a team with cap space completely absorbs his deal, and i hope no one is talking about that happening. if u think thats an option, u might be the one that doesn't get it.

Well then why did they try to get rid of him in the Hinrich deal. My point is you keep until next year's trade deadline if we can't find a taker then you can waive him after that.

There are some players I'd rather not see in a Lakers jersey and Raja Bell is at the top of that list.

Let him keep his cheap shot, clotheslining, ringless azz where he is.

Waiving Sasha doesn't do us any good when we still have roster spots left. It's not like it matters whether he rots on the bench or not, the Lakers still have to pay up regardless.

Ya I agree with this.

Skip him, the ish he pulled on Kobe was wrong and the last thing we need is giving this dirtbag a P&G jersey and a ring. Skip him let him sit at home and watch the Champs take it again. I freakin dispise this douche bag and I would rather keep Sasha which everyone knows how much I hate him too, but I would rather keep Sasha than give Bell the time of the day. SKIP HIM.
