Bad home loss for the Nugs.

Skiles has found a way to get the most from Delfino.

How is 38-30 JUST ABOVE .500? Just saying.

Can't believe the Bucks puled out a win last night against a great Nuggets home team. Good luck in the playoffs.

Melo forced it. JR forced it. Billups forced it. Billups has the greater responsibility and basketball IQ so I'd say if someone had to give, it would be him - but even he looked baffled as though he didn't see it coming.

This team really needs to learn how to read who's hot and who's not, how to deflect attention of the other team's defense, to utilize moving without the ball, opening up the pass. There are just so many fundamental things going wrong I am amazed they've pulled off this record so far.

No one wants to get "too down" after a loss, but these are mistakes that happen even in wins. The fact that they make these mistakes even more during losses is not good at all.

Idk how many times I saw Billups, JR and Melo trying split double teams instead of passing to whoever was open. It's just dumb.

I thought JR and Billups forced it, but Melo took a lot of good shots but he missed them.

Agreed. You would think after last season, this team would be motivated to mature and get better emotionally...

Nene has done a better job not bitching to the refs, I guess he realized after all it's no use complaining when the calls are final... and refs probably wouldn't listen to someone who's never been an all star anyway. Kudos to him...

If Melo complains during ball game and not running back to defense in the playoffs, now that would be a problem. It would be disappointing, even embarassing.

This team needs to involve the role players more on offense. AAA is just in shooting slump, the way to get him out of it is to involve him instead of alienating him. I really think the Nuggets are missing his outside shot... those shots are not "extra points"... he is imo not only a role player expected to play defense only. He has played himself into an integral part of our offense, and if we ditch a puzzle piece of our offense, it is bound to shake the system. We need him back in the offense!

Kmart's last game was on March the 3rd. Arron Afflalo in the month of March is shooting 38% from the floor, and 28% from deep, coincidence?. Petro is being cheated off of on offense allowing an extra defender to float to the ball or defend the 3 point line. Unless this team starts to make its opponent pay for cheating off of Petro, I expect these poor shooting numbers to continue.

Some of this is on Afflalo, he has had open looks that he isn't connecting on. At the moment, it makes it 3 against 5 on the offensive end of the floor, so hopefully he gets it going sooner than later.

^I don't think his struggles have anything to do with tighter defense or anything like that. I've seen him take many wide open shots just as he did all season when KMart was playing. He only misses them.

Hey VC averaged 8+ pts for one whole month... if it can happen to a star taking volume shots, I guess it can to role player taking 4-5 shots a game.

My concern is that, he doesn't take enough shots in a game to get himself out of the slump. Star players have the luxury of taking enough shots and opportunity to take themselves out of the slump quickly.

I think right now it's more about psychological thing that builds up he needs to get over. The relief is AAA is a hard worker and gym rat, he will find/ continue to find a way to get himself out of the slump.

My only complaint is the Nuggets not involving him/ getting away from him on offense is not helping.

The point is this: if the Nuggets think they don't need his offense and outside shots, they're sorely mistaken. His outside shots have really made us special all season... those shots kept us in the Cavs game in the first half and we pulled a W on Melo's game winner.

This Melo-Billups-J.R. dominating the offense while the others stand around passively watching sickens me. They need to move the ball... I'm somehow disappointed Billups has become part of the problem, instead of the solution. He, of all guys on the team, needs to realize they need to involve the other guys...

I hope this is not a problem that prolongs to the playoffs. We can fix it by playing it the right way starting tomorrow at New York.
