Looks like the loser WB falls just short, making it a lot further than anyone logically would have predicted. Good luck with WB's pick in the lottery TheMan, nobody will ever be able to prove a thing.

Re: FFDL [league smack]
The outcome of TheMan's matchup with Kohanz may very well be unaffected by the players he sat. The key numbers in the categories he's losing in are: 4 3's, 25 asts, and 8 blks. He's currently down 3's by 1, asts by 19, and blks by 9. But the night is far from over as Kohanz still has five players yet to play tonight to TheMan's two. It's still likely that theMan would lose in those 3 categories, going 5-4 this week. Brian still has a chance to beat me 8-1 so we'll see how it all turns out in a few hours.

Re: FFDL [league smack]
Believe me we'd like nothing more than to run into The Matador in the playoffs. After thrashing another substandard opponent this past week we'll gladly take him on, give him a little kick around, there's a good lad and send him on his way for the third time this season.

Re: FFDL [league smack]
In the end, it looks like if TheMan had a played a full lineup all week, he would've won 7-1-1 (though I didn't check the %'s in detail, it seemed likely he would've maintain the wins there). Brian beats me 6-3, so he would've made it.

Re: FFDL [league smack]
Tough break for Brian...but IMO ultimately the top-6 were the teams that deserved to make the playoffs on the basis of a 21-week season.
Brian will kick himself for the Stephen Curry trade, a trade that netted him T.J. Ford, Leandro Barbosa and Vince Carter. Ford only came into relevance well after the trade was made, Barbosa has peaked and has also only just returned from injury, whilst Vince has also been irrelevant for a big part of the season. OTOH, Steph Curry has been putting up some very gaudy numbers in Golden State...so much so, I believe he is the fantasy ROY.
Looks like myself and Kohanz will be first-round fodder in the playoffs, as Brian and George were performing better at the end of the season. Instead, they can fight for another consolation championship.

I've said my peace: TheMan cheated, it's collusion, blah blah blah.Karma has a way of coming back to you though, so my draft pick he gets will be the last one of the 1st round. Book it.
Either way, I'm happy with the way my team performed. Nearly a top 6 showing, and this after a ton of injuries rattled my team (had Louis Williams stayed healthy, we'd be having a different conversation). But I can only be happy with my team. Everyone is young enough for me to compete for the next several years, and with a healthy Oden next year, I should be fine.
As for Jordan's comment: Yes, I regret the Curry trade, but when I traded him, he was getting very inconsistent playing time from Don Nelson, who can kill a fantasy team. But, in the end, I ended up trading Barbosa and Ford for guys who made a big difference on my team (Emeka Okafor and others), and Vince Carter got over his slump and pretty much outperformed Curry by himself for the last month or two. So, I can't complain.

Buy a dictionary and learn what collusion means. For the record, I set my line up through the weekend early in the week. But when Sly added Maggette back on my roster (I should have left Parker active but you probably would have cried about that too), Yahoo for some reason moved four guys to my bench not of Friday but on Saturday.
I got in at just after 9:00 Sat. and saw those players on the bench. I tried to move them with positions but yahoo wouldn't let me despite the fact the games hadn't started yet. Sorry. Would it have made a different NO. I can count the three pointers those players combined for on my ovaries. That would be ZERO for for those with no knowledge of biology. They combined for 3 blocks but we lost that category by six. Let me do the math for you. Kohanz still would have won 29 to 26.
What WB should be crying about is that Pierce played. Pierce had 9 turnovers. Had he sat on the bench all week The Team would have won TO's. Damn. I need to start consulting WB on how to run my team. Please, O'Wise One, tell me who I drop to add Micheal Redd back on my team? Carmello Anthony? He is old no need for him right?
In the end The Team beat Kohanz finishing the season with two wins.

The Team, while appreciative of the invite would like to respectfully decline participation in the consolation playoff. As a team with a long and proud tradition of only participating in the really playoffs we see no glory in being crowned consolation "champions".

Hey theman, why isn't Al Thornton on my roster?
You're scum, let's face it.

No need...just go inactive over the Summer again and let Jordan do it for you (then come back during the draft and cry foul!

This is a nice way of saying: "There's no way TheTeam can beat Ham or TheMatadors, so I'm going to bow out now and avoid humiliation.

Yet we were somehow supposed to be able to beat Kohanz 8-1 so you could limp into the playoffs.

Sigh, another year and I've missed the playoffs again. Oh well, looking forward to the draft. My team is still young and somewhat talented (flawed as it is).

You definitely have some attractive parts. We should talk as soon as the season ends.

I don't get how east missed the playoffs. It's baffling.

Re: FFDL [league smack]
Its baffling to me too since I used to think I had the best big man and guard rotation in the league. Hehe.
Oh well, on to the draft.
BTW Coady, I miss you, I'll try and sign on MSN more hehe. I hope you don't leave at the end of this year!!!

Coady, I miss you too. We should go to a bar mitzfa or something. Or maybe a bat mitzfa.

Re: FFDL [league smack]
You're going with an interesting strategy tonight Kohanz. I'm not sure the playoffs are a good time to be trying out radical sit/bench methods though.

Re: FFDL [league smack]
Nice. Apparently Kohanz can't be bothered to set his lineup, even for the playoffs.
