heres another that makes sense
Toronto Trades:
Chris Bosh $16,500,000 (S&T max contract)
Jose Calderon $9,000,000
= 25,500,000
Houston Trades:
Shane Battier $7,429,500
Jared Jeffries $6,883,800
Aaron Brooks $2,016,692
Luis Scola $8,000,000 (S&T BYC 4,000,000)
= 20,329,992 X 1.25 + 100,000
= 25,512,490
BYC: States that salary is either 50% of his new salary or previous one whichever is higher so it would be 4 million as the outgoing salary and could be no less than that starting salary.
We get Brooks/Scola, get some useful expiring contracts to combine with our already expiring contracts and would look to add young players at the deadline by taking bad contracts. I would ship Battier out for any combination of young players we could get (example Fernandez + Pryzbilla) then be pretty much set and use those expiring to see what comes up at the deadline.
Bosh goes to Houston, gets to be the man, we dump Joses contract, they can keep those picks and Hill (scrub imo) and we can stay competitive while getting assets to use at the deadline.
Brooks/Jack/Banks
Derozan/Fernandez/Belinelli
Hedo/Weems/Butler
Scola/Evans/Jeffires
Bargnani/Johnson/Pryzbilla
* this is after the Battier for Rudy + Joel or another contract deal. Just an example doesnt have to be those 2 players.
works for Houston
Lowry/Calderon/PG
Martin/Bell(bi annual)/Taylor
Ariza/Budinger
Bosh/Hayes/Hill
Yao/Udoh(1st round)/Andersen
contending level team IMO.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks
