Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Houston Rockets 03/24/10

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Wed Mar 24, 2010 7:41 pm

The Good News: James Harden will be available for this game according to coach Scott Brooks.

The Bad News: Houston kills us. Although Landry has moved on, Kevin Martin remains a Thunder Killer and Thabo will have his hands full keeping in front of him.

A loss here to Houston would make the race a lot more interesting for us. We've had three winnable games slip through our fingers, some due to bad coaching, others due to our defense becoming noticably more pedestrian.

Hopefully the return of Harden galvanizes this group and we can get back on track for the home stretch. The last thing we need is to be the 8th seed with an impossible matchup in the first round.

I hope we see the Durant of 2 days ago vs the Spurs. He was a man possessed, and had that fire in his belly that I haven't seen from him very often.

Welcome back James Harden!

Big block on K-Mart, three big threes, took it to the hole on a couple of occasions.

Great game.. Russ' performance especially at the end of the 1st half is really concerning but other than that..

I like that the second unit is getting lots of minutes with Harden back. Great opportunity to get back on the same page.

Great win. That's 2 games in a row we have come out with focus and energy, and just played well.

Harden is a huge difference maker especially when he plays well, and not out of control.

We had an 18 point lead late in the first half and Russ made some poor plays and all of a sudden it's 13 with under a minute and it was looking like Charlotte again. Maynor gets subbed in, we have a few nice possessions on both ends and end the half with 17 point lead and momentum back.

He's just in a little funk..

Im fine with a down swing for now. As long as the upswing comes back in teh playoffs.

Westbrook had some great passes that led to easy buckets.
