Definitely, that 210lb frame can do some damage on defense. being a rookie wont hurt at all cuz of the speed.

i hope the kevin martin fan doesnt read this part of the thread

but really, the back court defense for next year... :( . okur started blocking shots this year out of the blue, maybe scola can do the same. forget steals, leave that to the guards, if im a pf and someoen tells me to steal the ball, i'll be like "wtf is a steal? you mean block? ok, ill block the shot, but i most definitely wont steal the ball. over my dead body will i even consider something that ludicrous. get outta here"

oh dear, looks like we are OFFICIALLY in tank mode. Since we are tanking, play those guys (except Armstrong) who haven't had much time on the court... (Btw, this is Harris "how many" comebacks to the NBA?)

what's up with all the injuries lately?

Yes it is true, the D looks better with Martin out of the line-up. He needs a shot of JVG.
I'm quite concerned about our backcourt D for next season. Our big men might just very well get fouled out. Looks like Martin's free pass is no longer secure if he cannot play some D.

the only way i think we can deal w/ the lack of backcourt defense, is if our starting pf can block shots. when brooks or martin get beat off the dribble, the guy w/ the ball will have a tougher time scoring on ariza/shane , yao and shot blocking pf. would be the only reason i'd want bosh but not for a heavy price. but even if we had a starting 4 to block shots i dont think it'd be enough , cuz then the opposint backcourts can just shoot jumpers all game long

Tough loss, but I had a lot of fun out at Toyota Center tonight! The Red Rowdies were really showing Kyle Lowry some love on his birthday, and I hope that he remembers this in the offseason!

The home crowd was so freaking into Luis Scola. I had a couple fans sitting behind me who were obviously there just for the Ice Cream Man.

The hottest Rockets Power Dancer is the one with the crazy amount of blonde, wavy hair.

Lot's of "why isn't [player x] playing comments tonight.

And for god's sake - babies are for raising, nurturing and loving....not for using in mid-court races for prizes!!!!

Anyone who we possibly think might be our lottery pick, cancel that name because only Morey knows.
