This team is SO Good!

Post#1 » by boneys2010 » Sat Mar 27, 2010 2:35 pm

OK,I'm not a big expert by any stretch.I don't get to watch as much NBA as I would like. But I have lived and suffered in Ohio for over twenty years.I am hoping beyond hope that this is the season the Cavs finally win a championship for the city of Cleveland.I am so impressed nwith the amazing Depth of this squad.I was watching "All Bets are Off"the other night and they were going over the possible rotation for the playoffs. The thing that really struck me was the fact the Gibson and Posey were maybe going to be the odd men out. With the return of Z,and with Shaq coming back we are going to be incredibly strong up frontAnd I am so happy that we were able to get jamison without giving up Hickson.
nyway,I just wanted to wish the Cavs alot of luck, with the playoffs looming ahead. And lets get Lebron signed as soon as possable!

They have quantity over quality.

That leads to coaching mistakes. Most of our recent losses are a direct result of not using our guys to match up with the other team. Last night was another example. Coach Brown watches Ginobili own Parker and he DNP's Moon.
These kinds of decisions will cost them in the playoffs.

^Spot on..

The thing with Mike Brown is ... He likes to stick with a certain matchup, lineup, and rotation while refuses to make any in game adjustments even when the other team is dominating us i.e. the ECF last year.. Even when a player performs very well, (such as Powe having a season high 16 points), that player won't be receiving any playing time the next. This is just something I've been noticing this season. I remember when Jawad was in the lineup and didn't play much, or even at all the next game.. Maybe we are too deep or something, but Coach Brown definitely has his troubles figuring out a rotation with the addition of Shaq, Jamison, and now the return of Big Z.. The other thing is he is giving Parker way too much minutes.. It would be essential to reduce his minutes, seeing that he is only standing outside the 3 point line waiting for the ball. Mike Brown needs to give West, Moon, and Jawad more playing time. With that said, I am not too confident in what he will do when Shaq returns in the playoffs..

There were alot of people to blame for that loss. No idea why you guys always want to pile onto Brown. If LeBron hadn't been a no show on defense we'd have won. Had Varejao not been injured we likely would have won.

How about the fact that we had a bad night. We win a lot and we should be fine.

We're not just speaking of yesterday's loss. We are talking about the others as well, and what may potentially happen in the playoffs due to Mike Brown's decisions and lack of adjustments.

Perhaps true, because the effort wasn't there last night... However, something has to be said in regards to coach and LeBron himself in these scenarios...

For example, if things aren't going well for stretches like yesterday, why not post LeBron up just to change the look up a bit ?? Make their defense react differently, allow LeBron to maybe get going from the post ??

Just little things like that are frustrating IMO...

Well hopefully we can win it ALL this year.Despite our HC's shortcomings!Maybe someone like Dallas can derail the Lakers before the finals. That would be Nice!Although a Cavs/Lakers final would be awesome.

You have LeBron.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

The Cavs have a ton of depth in the frontcourt, and that can only be a good thing come playoff time against their two biggest (literally and figuratively) opponents, Orlando and LAL.
