Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Portland Trailblazers 03/28/10

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Sun Mar 28, 2010 6:40 pm

Huge game for playoff seeding.. a loss to Portland evens us up, and would also most likely give them the tiebreaker unless we beat them on the road later in April.

A win, and we basically take the tiebreaker from them, considering the differences in our division records, and gain some seperation from them and SAS (hopefully they lose to Boston). Denver has a couple tough games coming up as well, and we'd be in the thick of the division again if some things go right.

This will be the strongest we've seen the Blazers since they stomped us in OKC early in the year. Of course, our team is much different as well since then (especially our bench), so this should be an interesting matchup.

Key to this game IMO is the Blazers front line. Marcus Camby legitimizes that front court, giving LMA a reprieve from some of the dirty work. If we get worked over on the boards and in the paint, this could be a long night for us.

With the stupid bull your fellow fans have been posting on the other boards, you guys should automatically win this.

I think the only Thunder fans who post that stuff on the main boards is wiff and I think he is joking most of the time. I know he hates Portland though :D

I think most of it is pretty innocent trolling/trash talking

with the obvious exception of wiff

I never seen that Islanders82 guy post in the OKC board before. I doubt he is a Thunder fan.

OKC has no chance tonight, but good luck in future games.

Why would the Thunder have "no chance" ?

Just some pre-game trash talk. Nothing crazy like the trash you guys were spewing on the GB about Oden.

Roy had 28 points on 12-14 last night against the Hornets.
Interesting to watch what will be happend tonight with Thabo on him.

if Roy is on nothing you can do

but i wouldnt trust any defender to slow him down more than Thabo

definitely excited for that matchup

Batum vs Durant should be good too

Andre Miller is abusing Russ and we're making some silly switches on defense.

Doesn't look we've come out executing the same way we did against the Lakers.

Don't mind the jumpers by Russ. But his defense has been horrible, basically the whole team's defense has been bad. Making poor rotations.. Portland's just killing us.

Blazers basically doing whatever they want offensively and we're taking long jumpers. We've very lucky this isn't a double digit lead.
