Magic accept deal with NY. We have a few wings and could use some big man depth.

Add this to the previous trade that includes Evans.....So it eventually becomes a 3-way.

ImageOKC Gets:
Pop Mensah Bonsu$1,000,000
Jodie Meeks $762,195
Tony Battie $854,389
Total=$2,616,584
ImageOrl Gets:
Mo Evans $2,500,000
Total=$2,500,000

OKC does it to strengthen my bench, and bring some youth and athleticism to it.

Houston and OKC have agreed to a deal.

Houston outgoing :

Tony Parker $13,650,000
rights to Sergio Lull

OKC outgoing:

AL Jefferson $13,000,000
Aaron Gray (min. deal)
Etan Thomas (min. deal.)

clearly the deal works

why for HOUSTON?

we wanted AL jefferosn since this game started. We love having three or four bigs to rotate around and be fresh. This also allows us to move Arenas back to PG where is plays better. Also LMA becomes expandable, were we already have a nice deal lined up for. Good dealing, we finally got one does jcdallas. LOL

OKC accepts, hate giving up Jefferson but i feel Parker is more suited to be the starting PG to my team....Well now that i have a hole at PF or C, send offers away....I have almost everybody on the block besides Parker/Durant....

Magic accept deal with OKC. We're excited to add another defensive minded player to our team.

HOUSTON and ATLANTA have to terms on a pretty big deal, well 2 deals actually.

Deal one:

Houston Outgoing:
Tyson Chandler $12,600,000

ATL Outgoing:
2011 2nd round draft pick.

Deal works due to Atlanta being WAY under the cap.

Deal two:

Houston Outgoing:
Lamarcus Aldridge $10,744,000
AL Thorton $2,814,196

ATL Outgoing:
Josh Smith $11,600,000
Jeff Teague $1,476,840

Clearly the salaries work.

WHY?
We get a top notch 3/4 in this league who is still very young. Josh Smith is a premiere shot blocker and will fit in with Boozer and Jefferson just fine. Teague helps fill out our now depleted bench. We also gain a HUGE traded player exception which will come in handy since we need a big on the bench now. Either way, WE HAD to do this deal. A starting 5 of Arenas / Battier / Smith / Boozer / Jefferson is pretty ding dang darn elite to me. Any ways nice dealing with you ATL and good luck the rest of the way.

Losing Smith sucks, but we had many holes since we struck out in free agency. We feel the return of LMA,Thorton, and Chandler for essentially Smith and Teague is too great to pass up. A young starting five of Felton/Childress/Thorton/LMA/Perkins with Chandler and Rush off the bench is a nice overhaul since receiving the team.

btw still looking for a pure scorer, msg me if u have 1 available, but note Perkins and LMA are OFF limits

Dallas and Orlando have agreed to a trade:

Dallas gives: Thaddeus Young, Jason Kapono, Kris Humphries
Dallas gets: Jordan Hill, Ronnie Brewer
outgoing: $12.54338 million
incoming: $9.66952 million

Orlando gives: Jordan Hill, Ronnie Brewer
Orlando gets: Thaddeus Young, Jason Kapono, Kris Humphries
outgoing: $9.66952 million
incoming: $12.54338 million
$12.54338 million - $9.66952 million = $2.87428 million
Orlando had $6.47084 million in cap room before this trade.

Dallas accepts. We would have liked to keep Young, but neither of the other players we're giving up were part of our future plans. Plus, with our plans to re-sign Greg Oden and Marcus Thornton (both of whom are RFA) next offseason, it's nice to have two guys already locked into long-term deals whereas Young is also an RFA next summer. We see Hill as our PF of the future and Brewer as a key contributor as well.

Houston and Philadelphia have agreed to a minor but good deal, and then a smaller deal.

Houston outgoing:
Shawn Marion $7,305,500
Aaron Gray $825,497
Total: $8,130,997 x 1.25% + 100,000 = $10,263,746

Philly outing:
Tracy McGrady $6,000,000
Drew Gooden $3,000,000
Jason Williams $825,497
Total: $9,825,497

Deal Works

Deal 2:
Houston outgoing:Nothing (well using part of my TPE from the Chandler to ATL trade to absorb the salary)

Philly outgoing:
Matt Barnes $ 4,000,000

Why for Houston.

After my flury of trades they depleted my bench. With a new bench of Jwill / Teague at point along with Barnes / Tmac on the wings and Gooden / Darko up front we feel that our bench is pretty solid. Losing Marion sucks because of his versitility and defense but Barnes / Battier can also do what he does. Good dealing with you B.I.

Confirmed. We consolidate assets and grab a guy in Marion that can do a lot of things for our team, and doesn’t need the ball to be effective.

PHI/CHI/OKC have a three way to annouce.

PHI incoming:
Martell Webster..$4,800,000
Thabo Sefalosha..$2,759,628

WAS incoming:
OKC 2015 (top 59 protected)

OKC incoming:
Shawn Marion - $6,635,068
Jerry Stackhouse - $854,389

We flip Marion, oddly for one of the best perimeter defender's in the league. Thabo is someone I really like, and Webster has been doing very well in POR, and both are young and fit nicely into our core here in PHI.

Charlotte and Miami have come to an agreement:

Charlotte 2011 1st rounder (unprotected)
Ricky Davis $825,497
Othello Hunter $825,497
JR Giddens $825,497
for
Jared Dudley $2,151,068

2.15x1.25 = 2.69>2.4

Charlotte accepts. I really like Dudley's game and although the pick is a pretty decent asset, I'm confident it won't be a high one.

Miami accepts, we simply do not have the minutes to give Dudley. Hopefully a return to Charlotte will get him the minutes he deserves. We wanted to get a 2011 pick and make Duds happy and this deal accomplished that. Plus we save a few dollars because we waive the 3 unguaranteed players
