Well it wasn't pretty at all, but a win is a win. The Knicks REALLY wanted to win that game. Most bottom dwellers would have rolled over after that first quarter. That makes this win THAT MUCH SWEETER!

1ST PLACE IN THE DIVISION BABY!!! Now we have just GOT to hang on to it. Glad to see the Jazz recover after falling behind momentarily.

Denver also struggled without K-Mart early in the season. The division is ours. At this rate we might see Denver in the first round.

I was at this game. Really it never felt like the game was in doubt. The Jazz bent but never broke, they never gave up the lead. They did let the Knicks tie it up but we seriously were missing so many easy baskets at the rim, especially Millsap.

CJ actually played really well tonight. I love having him on the floor. His defense was solid, he has become very comfortable taking the ball to the rim, and doesn't take as many bad 3's as he used to. His dunk on T-Mac was great. I hope the Jazz keep him around.

While I was at the game I sat and watched Kevin O'Connor for an entire quarter. He's insane.

He sits with his arms folded and knees together while the game is going on, and every once in a while when there is a bad foul called against the Jazz he jumps into the isle and starts waving his arms and pointing and yelling at the refs. The thing is he sits like 6 or 7 rows up so nobody can hear him, he just freaks out.

And during the time outs and game breaks, he just puts his head in his lap, it looks like he is sleeping or like he is sick of has a hang over. Guy is nuts.

I agree with you Bat, Miles is maturing, he's still inconsistent, but has been far more productive this season. Since Brewer's departure he seems to have picked up some of the energy that we lost when Brewer left. He and Price often provide that energy and hustle plays that get us back into games. That's invaluable, and doesn't come up on the box scores. I like the guy too, and he's going to get better. He'll probably never be a star, 20ppg kind of guy, but he can be a really solid role player, and for a fair price I say keep him.

If CJ can figure out how to not get into early foul trouble, he could be one of our best defenders.

Go back to the Indiana game and watch how poorly he can play defensively. He was late getting position and swatting at the ball in the opponents hands, generating a four point play and other msicues. For the amount of time he has been in the league his performance is very inconsistent and mostly unimpressive.

I agree, but this year, outside of the Indiana game (which he STUNK), and a handful of other games where he has shot horribly, he's been pretty good, and very important in many games. Like I said, he's very inconsistent, but he's definitely improved a lot of the years. Last year he showed potential, this year he's playing up to that potential sometimes, and I think next year he can take it up to another level. He may be two years away from really hitting his stride, indeed a late bloomer, but the high school to college jump often does this to players. I'm not saving he'll ever be an All-Star, but he's coming along. He just celebrated his 23rd birthday less than 2 weeks ago.
