I was fortunate enough to get 2nd row seats tonight. Just a tough game to lose. I thought we'd have it won after Jack forced that turnover.

The turnover was ALL on Felts, because there was a decent chance that Tyson would screw up even a perfect pass at his waist or hands. As it was, the pass wasn't perfect, and Tyson had little chance of catching it. Nazr, Tyrus, or even Theo catches that and we likely go to OT barring a last second shot. Just unfortunate that those guys were injured. Now gotta make that game up somewhere else.

We should never have been in that situation. The Jarret Jack 3pt ft's killed us in combination with the 2 + the foul that was taken away from jax on the BS charge. Say what you want, but those 3 plays decided the game, regardless of if we had chances at the end.

Chances at the end we blew, but refs put us in that spot to begin with.

QFT, wow rich you freaking read my mind, haven't read the rest of the thread yet, don't get me wrong the bobcats choked away chances at the end but the officiating in the 4th was just plain horrid. also i don't think felts pass was that bad, if anything the only blame should be on him expecting that spare chandler to catch the pass, its an easy dunk if he looks for the ball. Btw guys i'm a new poster on this board but i hope to start posting here in the future, I'm from Melbourne, Australia but have adopted the Cats as my surrogate team for the last 2 years.

Ray should have lobbed it, but I think it was the speed of the pass more than anything else.
Humble yourself.

regardless, does anyone here want the crunch time shot going to Tyson Chandler unless it's an uncontested dunk? Should have just taken the shot or kicked it back out for a 3.

I think one thing this team could REALLY use is a killer 3pt specialist to camp out for situations like that. I don't have faith in anyone else really taking 3's these days. I think our best 3pt shooter is actually Felton, that tells you we're missing the classic white dude who can shoot 3's. BRING BACK THE HAMMER!

Felton had a really good game, but I'd love to know what he and the rest of the team was thinking on that last play. I mean, Felts is driving into the lane, the Rap's were playing a soft collapsing zone, everyone was camped at the 3 point line except Chandler. Even if Tyson catches that ball it's 1 on 3 at the rim. Maybe he gets fouled, but I thought the play developed poorly. Better to penetrate and dish for an open jumper if you're not going to gang bang into the lane.

Sad to lose. We needed to be tougher on the boards, expecially sealing off easy o-rebounds and putbacks by the Raps. But give them credit...they were hitting shots I never expected them to.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

even if we had a 3pt specialist, he wouldnt be in the game in crunch time unless he could play mad defense. LB has shown he will always go with the defensive unit at the end of games.

I guess you're right, but still. We could use one for game tying/winning situations.

He's not white or European, but you know who would fill that role wonderfully?

Anthony Morrow.

Best thing about him is that he does more than just shoot, he's a local kid, his an RFA and he seems to have found his way down the end of the bench on that mess of a team out west.
