One thing I noticed is this set of guys we have know how to come back into a game. We used to only ride momentum and when the momentum stopped the Suns stopped. But now the Suns are able to make defensive plays and get back into the game slowly, as opposed to just trying to jack shi! up like they used to.

Absolutely, and thats the key. Just knowing that you CAN get the stops allows them to hang in there when the O isnt there. In the past, if they werent scoring well, they knew they were going to lose.

I went to one of the Suns fan night and got to attend a Q&A with Gentry. He was asked about Coach Of The Year and said he hopes he doesn't win it. Those who do win, get fired. (This was right after Byron Scott was fired from the Hornets too I think.)

great game, guys.. :(

Rose was really out of rhythm tonight. Suns did a good job doubling him and making others make plays.

Amare..another day another poster right? lol..this guy's a beast, I'd love to have him on the Bulls next year but I doubt that works out

Nash was just nash..and J Rich showed up

Well deserved win

It's amazing how Robin Lopez seems to make such a big difference on this team.

Yeah it's crazy... When he was out at the beginning of the season we didn't notice until we had that awful stretch. It really is amazing how he alters shots and boxes out well. It's ridiculous how much better at D he is than Frye.

Its ridiculous how much he has improved too.. just that confidence he has now probably after seeing how well dragic is doing and knowing gentry has that confidence, alvin has really done a good job developing a bench and getting our youngs guy and veterans mentally prepared. He deserves a lot of credit.

Compared to Jarron Collis, Lopez looks like Wilt Chamberlain at the offensive end . Collins might be a good backup for a few minutes, to pull down a rebound or draw a foul, but he's nowhere near Lopez, he just can't finish around the rim. Let's pray RoLo will be able to play come playoff time, if not, we're pretty much doomed.

We don't need 10 or 20 points by Collins, though. I'd be plenty happy if he didn't even score. Lopez can put up 15 points, sure, but the rest of the team can just as easily shoulder that extra 15 points. Collins is not out there to fill up the stat sheet, he's out there to do the dirty work. You have to look at how the team plays when he's in and the opportunities Amar'e gets, not how many points Collins scores. I think he can be out there for 25 minutes and be very valuable come Playoff time. A few more games with him being worked in before the season's over will allow the team to get used to capitalizing on what he does do out on the court. This way, you'd hope to see his +/- start to look pretty good come Playoff time.

Man, if you guys get DWade and Amar'e...you're running with the big boys for sure. I wish our franchise could take a direction like that, all of a sudden having 2 superstars. It works, it works, it works. Just look at history of championship teams. Ugh I wish there even was a big picture here in Phoenix.

Oh well it's on to the offseason for the Bulls which basically this season was all for anyways. The only free agent in which the Bulls have a shot at getting is Chris Bosh IMO and I doubt they get him.

We went through it last year with teh Porter thing and then Amar'e out, missed teh playoffs. We sympathize. you guys are not badly situated though - some strong young guys already on the roster.
Good luck - you can still catch TO.

If TO falls out of the playoffs I think CB might seriously look at moving.

I know, I think that organizations need to take a page out of Riley book, no player is bigger than the team, but understand that the team is players and they need to be happy. The suns top brass has pissed off most of yall old players, Joe Johnson, Matrix, Q rich, and STAT what would have happen if yall had that team now wwwwooooaaaaaahhhh!

How the hell would that happen? I mean ... it'd be awesome ... but so would having Howard, Lebron, and Wade all come for the vet minimum, you know?

No that's what I asked the other day but apparently they will have more than enough cap room to bring in Amar'e, even if they keep Wade and both demand the max. They have a lot expiring, like Jermaine O'Neal. So that's why I was saying that, not just as a pipe dream.

The crazy thing is if we can get 3 of them to agree (Wade, Amare, Bosh, or Lebron) we can afford at least 3 for six years at 13 mil a piece. if they want to all play together and then sign vets at minimum. we did the math.

Well, being happy when basketball player doesn't score a single point is pretty silly, if you have a player who can't score anything on a basketball court you're in a much worse position that you would be if you have a player who can score. Other than that i'm not really sure what you are talking about, my only point was that Collins can't give us anything close to Lopez on offense (not to mention defense) so if you're quoting me I guess you have opposite opinion but you only said he's not there to score or to fill the stat sheet (wow, that's news!) so what you want to say is we're no worse with Collis instead of Lopez or what? Beacuse what i'm saying is having Collins instead of Lopez sucks.
