Like Dray said, if we get Gil back we will have a closer.

We have a player to feed on the blocks who has range, we just need one who can do his own thing from the outside.

A couple draft picks..maybe a FA.. we will be a lot better next year.

We found a back up PG in Livingston and a great roll player in Singleton. Keeping Miller for value couldn't suck. He is a great rebounder. If he doesn't have to play outside himself, he is a good teammate.

McGee will get better over time. I could even see keeping Nick. He isn't going to get worse. He is signed pretty cheap.

Ted as the owner. We will be fine. Actually, we will be more than fine.

 Yes, dating back to the EJ era. Still, the guys fought hard.

Way back before the EJ era. I clearly remember Damone Brown & the Toronto 8 on the "Let's Get Greedy Tour".

Do you trust Flip to pull it all together?

Let just say he hasn't won me over. I have been on a tear against Flip lately. But I don't see how he isn't here next year unless Ted is very loose with his money or he really wants out.

Way more likely Flip and Gil are here next year than not so we may as well except it.

The theme of the night for the Wizards seemed to have been- "Hey we could have had that guy!" Sometimes it felt good that the guy wasn't on our team, other times not so much.

- Kyle Lowry (took Pecherov instead)
- Jarred Jeffries (could have resigned him to an awful contract)
- Jordan Hill (could have taken him at #5, although I don't think anyone would have wanted him at the time)
- Mike Harris (wasn't he on this team like a week ago)
- Jermaine Taylor (sold him for straight cash)
- Chase Buddinger (could have used a 2nd rounder on him)

Heck no!

Flip is going to ruin McGee and he's going to intimidate all the young players that don't suck up to him. He's going to deflect blame onto other players each time the team loses.

The only thing Saunders will be putting together is a buyout after next season.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

I'm pretty sure JaFail can handle that on his own, CCJ :-)

They played hard and did a lot of things right, tightened the D up in the second half. Good energy. I was enjoying things.

But, ugh. 9 more to go.

It's much less painful when you don't watch.

CSN has been demoted to "background noise" whenever Wizards games are on. It's sad but true.

Hill looks pretty bad for a 23 year old taken with the 5th pick. He looks pretty good as an acquisition by the Rockets as a throw-in for the TMac deal.

Kanyewest wrote:- Jermaine Taylor (sold him for straight cash)

He hasn't had a great season, but I wonder if he had extra motivation against the Wizards.

In some ways passing on him is worse than passing on Blair. Blair will be the better player, but a young productive swingman is a great need on this team.

Yeah, that's sage advice really, I just figure it'll all be over soon and I'd like to have some idea on how Dray is developing so that I can have more informed arguments this summer. :D

Can somebody tell me if the refs ever corrected the score on Mini Me's three? He was clearly behind the line yet I never saw them go back to check the shot.
