Oklahoma City Thunder @ Boston Celtics 03/31/10

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Wed Mar 31, 2010 8:42 pm

The Celtics are coming off an embarassing loss to the Spurs so they will be looking for some redemption.. meanwhile we're on the 2nd of the back to back, but many of our starters got some nice rest in the fourth quarter in Philly.

It'd be nice to win this one but even with Pierce not playing for Boston it will be tough. They are a great defensive team. If we win it's going to be a defensive effort.

If we want anything other than a 8th seed weed need this one.

I predict a hard fought victory :)

So fah so gud.
Celtics are hungry but Thunder playing better ball.
Im jut worried a little bit about all those point in the paint by the C's...and now Collison has 2 PF's.
Ibaka needs to clean i up in the 2nd Q.
Go for it Congo Man!!!

Peirce's facial expressions and "swagger" make me nauseous.

My experience is, that if 2 team are tied up after 3 Qs, with one team shooting 49% and the other team shooting 67%, then usually the 49%-team will win.

Lets see...

What a win! Felt like a playoff game. Crazy game to win, Boston tightened up defensively in the fourth and we followed suit. Gutsy performance with our bigs in foul trouble and how about Jeff Green? Two GREAT PLAYS run by Brooks to decoy Durant and get Green open looks. Those won the game.

Yep, great plays by both Brooks and JGreen!
Ya know, I really think Brook should get the COY award this year.
Durant MVP talks are BS, because the Thunder would have to be no 1 or 2 seed to really consider KD. So I just dont think its fair to put this 21-year old guy into a spot like that.
But hey, he is for sure this team's MVP.

Btw: Great game by Westbrook!!

The Boston play by play guys are a joke, but everybody already knew that.

I'm wondering if they are worse than Grant Long and Brian Davis? nah..... I have to mute my Computer screen when they are doing a Thunder game.

They are. They were blaming their loss on the referees, Tom Heinsohn's a sore loser.

Agreed. He is one of the reasons we are going tio the playoffs, but MVP usually goes to teh best [player on the best team. Does he deserve a mention? Yes. Does he really deserve to win it? no

We have been praying for Brooks to come up with some decent end of game plays (Slick especially) and he finally delivered!
No stupid KD ISO at the end!~
