Regarding Phil's comments though, we have 7 players coming back, unless Brown opts out (could have sworn it was a team option) as well as Kobe.
I think we can just go ahead and let Powell's ass go and hope for the best in the draft, and bring back MBenga since he's somewhat serviceable as a reserve in limited minutes (and cheap).
If Morrison, Fisher, and Farmar are gone, then we have to worry about replacing both PG spots with MLE only (or possibly drafting). While it's not ideal, I think we should let Fisher go (maybe come back as an assistant or some crap -- whatever keeps him off the court) and give Farmar his qualifying salary (keep him as a reserve) so that we can have the full MLE available in case we need it. We can always unload Sasha and Farmar mid-season for a solid backup to Kobe (or a PG) if things aren't looking all that hot. Then again, our management is probably already looking into possibilities so maybe they have something better in mind.
Dude........the Magic have 3 road games they'll probably lose. They play at Dallas on Thursday and San Antonio on Friday, and they play at Cleveland on April 11th a Sunday game on national TV. And several games they can still lose at home, they may lose the Knick game on April 9th by looking ahead to that Cavs game on that Sunday. I went to the same High School as Wale (Quince Orchard) and he's a cool guy (we still keep in touch now) and he's still down to Earth. He's not flashy like these other cats that get some money and some airplay and I respect that about him. I could hit him up right now to ball and he'd still be down. With that said do you live on the east coast? Wale and J. Cole will be performing at UMD and Howard if you live in this area...
