Nope, that's sort of the punishment for your transgression, if you can call it that. Especially since I specifically mentioned Feliz as an example of who not to pick up, haha.

Ziegler is a bum anyways, you are probably better off without him

Apparently Tycobb likes pitchers whose names begin with the letter C

Well I knew I'd have to overpay to do a trade like this but I needed roster space for Wade Davis and Buster Posey. Sad to see those three go but they were old or unproven and Greinke is another horse to add to the staff. I'd love to trade a pitcher for a bat but it seems like the market is limited and/or a couple people are hoarding the OF (bigboy, our lovable Chach).

Well it makes complete sense to make that trade. With a staff like yours it would be a mistake not to get younger and make room for young guys.

Yeah, no ****.

I'm looking to improve 2nd and 3rd base. I'm willing to part with AN outfielder, not multiples, and I need some bats in return (like another hitting 1st baseman to hit UTL). I put up five guys according to the yahoo trading block but I just want you guys to know that all my relief pitchers are available as well. I have plenty of pitching and I'm looking to improve my offense so if anyone has some REAL trade offers then send them. Sorry I never got around to sending a counter offer Sett, it's been busy lately. Glad to see you made a trade anyway. mahalo

And now the trade we've all been waiting for. After more than a year of badgering him, I've finally managed to put together a package to pry Mauer away from Kaz. Here's the trade:

Kaz receives:

Zack Greinke
Miguel Montero
rights to Buster Posey
2011 first round prospect pick

Sett receives:

Joe Mauer

Also could you drop Josh Fields from my minor league system to make room for Posey, Sett?

Much appreciated

Getting quite a few inquiries on my players, so I thought I would make a post about what I am looking to do.

I am looking to overhaul as much as possible with youth, better prospects, and prospect picks.

Thus, my veteran players are available at all positions (Derrek Lee, Brian Roberts, JD Drew, Carlos Zambrano, Valverde, etc).

Players I am not looking to deal at all at this point: Miggy, Beckham, Snider, Feldman and Niemann definitely arent available. Happ would fall into a category behind them, along with Napoli and Chris Young, and Lastings Milledge will still have some value to me (I view this complete season as his last chance to impress anyone; if you can't play in Pittsburgh, you can't play anywhere).

So this should clear the air as to what trades I will reject and not make counters for, and other trades that I may be interested in tinkering with.

Damn, and here I was going to dangle Braun for Niemann. No point now.

Sett, have we always had a max moves and max trades of 100 and 40 respectively?

Yeah, I just press the same settings as last year option. Given that Mr. Cobb set the league record with 55 moves last year I don't anticipate it being a problem, do you?

According to the Yahoo! composite rankings I have the #1 catcher, the #3 first baseman, the #1 second baseman, the #2 third baseman, the #3 shortstop, the #7 outfielder, the #3 relief pitcher and the 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 13th and 15th best starting pitchers. Well, looks like my work is done as long as two out of Pence, Delmon, Beltran and Fowler work out.

If anyone is interested, as you've probably seen the last week or so with Ty and Kaz, I'm willing to trade quantity for quality in a deal where you get the better value, as long as I'm getting the best player.
