Pinstripes or Road jersey

Post#1 » by 60cent » Wed Mar 3, 2010 4:54 am

Hi guys, im not a Yankee fan but i made this thread just to find out what a die hard Yankee fans like. It's my uncle's b-day a week from now and he's a huge bomber fan. Im thinking of buying him a Jeter authentic jersey as a gift but im not sure which one is better. I mean, both are great but which one is IN right now or which one looks cool-er than the other? Thanks in advance for your help guys! Peace!

Also, while im at it, is it true that the authentic jersey's number is not screen-printed? Is the replica screen-printed?

... And where can i find a store that sells authentic Jeter jersey in north jersey? I kept looking but i can only find it online. I would like to see it first because i want to make sure that i would get the correct size.

I have both authentics, road is #34 and pinstripes is #42.....

I personally like the grey one better to wear as the lettering is double layered with navy outlined in white where as on the pinstripe its just one color, navy blue.

Its honestly up to you, just make sure you buy a real authentic and not a fake replica, anyone that has a clue knows the difference and replica's just look so cheap.

Oh and #34 was for when Hughes changed to that # but now hes 65 and Burnett is 34 so I mean I guess its ok..

CC & Rivera authentic World Series home jerseys. I love the road jerseys as well though.
