I have a good feeling about this one, but the Lakers seems to chew up my good feelings and spit them out. They seem to be in cruise control going into the playoffs, I hope it's true.

Let's get DWill his first win in LA! (against the Lakers anyway)...

2006 was the last time Utah won in L.A. and it was Williams' rookie season. So he has defeated the Lakers in L.A., HammerDunk. Though he wasn't starting and they were without Kobe.

But it has been done!

I don't even remember that game.

In fact, the last win I remember came in 2000, when the Jazz spoiled the Lakers' ring ceremony. It was like the second game of the 2000-01 season and I just remember how awesome it was to knock off L.A. on their night.

Good memories.

As for Friday, I won't expect a win. Until Utah can prove to beat the Lakers in a meaningful game, I won't get my hopes up.

That's the exact same approach I take on days where the Jazz don't have a game.

I don't think Jazz can beat the Lakers. They need 3 things they do not have and a thing they should have but it just does not appears: athleticism, agressiveness, a way to manage Odom/Gasol, and Williams just plainly embarrasing Fisher/Brown/Farmar.

hahah Jeffers is such a weird looking dude. Jazz gonna win this one, i think playing against these easy teams is just what they needed to get a little confidence going into LA while Lakers are clearly struggling.

I don't think the Jazz win this one because I think L.A. is tired of all the nay-sayers throwing them under the bus. They'll be playing with a chip on their shoulder and unfortunately, when Kobe plays with a chip on his shoulder against Utah, only bad things happen.

It seems that LA was in a similar situation last year, losing some games with people questioning their will power, and they KILLED us in the last game of the year.

BTW, what in the world is CJ wearing? I thought he was trying to grow up a bit...

We lose and likely get 3rd seed but win then we likely get 2nd seed which means 2nd round home court plus confidence the Jazz can beat LA anywhere. What will happen? The Jazz lose big!!! No AK-47 to guard Kobe/Odom then no chance!!!.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I just want to see a hard foul called against us. No ticky tack crap. I want someone from the laker team to get up very slowly.

We need Matthews to develop into the "pick a fight with Ron Artest" guy that Harpring was.

Jeffers reminds me a bit of Artest, appearance-wise.
