Goddamnit it kind of enrages me that we can keep a game close for 40 minutes and then epically bomb the next 6 minutes.

Good game, but we'll be gunning for you come playoffs time.

We might let you guys win one against us this year. Too much rest in the playoffs last year came back to haunt us.

We'll take you to at least 6.

Nah, especially if Shaq comes back for that round... I can see Horford and ZaZa being in serious foul trouble, the Cavs killing the boards and the Hawks just getting dismantled...

However, if the Celtics keep on losing, we won't even see the Hawks in the playoffs, cause they'll run into Orlando...

Is is curious to anyone else that we don't seem to have much problem with Atlanta's athleticism but Charlotte tends to be a problem. Even before this year Charlotte has given us fits but Atlanta while close don't seem to be that big an issue.

I know some of it has to do with Bibby. The fact that he can't beat anyone Mo off the dribble generally means our defense remains more sound than playing quicker guards.

Mo was actually decent last night on D even against crawford. The Hawks athleticism is what scares me about this team. The Hawks being an outside shooting team, I think it negates some of what Orlando's strength is. That is why I would rather see them playing Orlando rather than Boston.
The C's plodding half court offense isnt much of a challenge to either the Cavs or Orlando, however if the Hawks get hot from outside with Crawford, Bibby or Johnson, they can be tough to handle. That's why I would rather see the Cavs play Boston in the second round than the Hawks.

Crawford is always a potential issue against the Cavs. Historically, he's just gone bananas when he's seen the Cavs in town. We ordinarily do a pretty good job against Johnson and Bibby. The Cavs do have issues with teams that can beat one of their guards off the dribble however. It tends to create lots of easy buckets for their bigs.

Nah, you hit it....Felton has always been the difference in our matchups..

Even if he's not scoring himself--his ability to push in transition and his ability to get into the paint and make the defense react has always been a problem... Coupled with the fact that Wallace can indeed defend LeBron to a degree, whereas Marvin Williams may make a nice play or two on LeBron throughout the course of a game, he simply can't hang...And Bibby is just slow and limited...

The 3 guys that I have always felt give LBJ problems was Wallace, Battier, and Pietrus.. IMO, Pietrus is the one LeBron takes issue with, cause I've seen LBJ kinda say "f-it"--got his ass down in the post and was about as vicious as I have ever seen him get on another player down there...

Lebron still doesnt post up enough for my taste. He seemed to enjoy posting RJ against the Nets tho, and ate his lunch when he did.

Even when he does he doesn't seem to get deep position.

I like that new play they're running though from the wing where LeBron goes for the baseline lob and then pivots if it's not there and is posting up in the paint... It's a quick hitter sorta play, but it's a nice new wrinkle...
