Chris Kanyon found dead

- Former WWE and WCW star Chris Kanyon was found dead in his apartment in Queens, New York early this morning at age 40. We're still waiting official details but it's believed he died from an intentional overdose of pills, a suicide.

Who betta than Kanyon? His Mortis gimmick and subsequent angles were hard to deal with, but I always liked watching him in the ring. Pretty innovative wrestler.

As soon as I saw this thread, I thought suicide right away. It's a shame, too. RIP.

Really sad news to hear. I almost took him for wcw, I loved was a big fan.

I had the same mindset as you. If I remember correctly, Kanyon had attempted suicide several times in the past.

Yep. Ever since he revealed he was gay, it went downhill for him. He got released soon after by the WWE and ever since then he was posting on his website that he was bipolar and depressed and quite a few times said he wanted to kill himself.

All the signs were there and he got no help, it really is a shame.

Agreed I use to watch WCW from 8-9 before Raw and his and Ravens act is one of the only things I found fun in WCW.
