"Raps swept in 4" should be new saying...

Wow I hope that this thread was a joke.

In my eyes, Raps can win a game if:
LeBron James breaks both his legs
OR
LeBron breaks a leg and and arm
OR
The Raps decide to play defence and they shoot 50%+

This is actually the exact Raptors team that I thought they'd end up with at the beginning of the season. Lots of players that can shoot, but nobody who plays defense and very little toughness. They can get hot and win a game max 2.

L&H_05 wrote:Well technically nobody is really rating the Cavs.... The Cavs win games thus are where they are for not losing games like the Raptors do..

Best record--best home record--best road record etc.... So it's not like someone is going to "rate" the Cavs and seed them based on being rated...

See, the Raptors suck, they really do...So it's simple to figure out... They already have 37 losses this season whereas the Cavs will not have 37 losses combined in the last two seasons... So as you see, it's not really overrating the Cavs so to speak as much as it is-- the Cavs go into games and win whereas the average to below average sucky Raptors team goes into games and lose...

The Raptors actually being considered a playoff team is overrated.. Their suckiness alone should not warrant them such an honor of being swept by the Cavs... They're not even good enough to be our first round opponent... Consider the Raptors lucky if they do...

i wouldn't look past the raptors. Yes you can add the losses from this year and come up with those stats, but these two teams have played 3 times this year, the first game the raptors won, the second game the cavs won at home in the closing minutes, and the third game the cavs won in overtime without chris bosh playing. The cavs are a better team no doubt and are more versatile, but i wouldnt look past the raptors seeing as how they have played the cavs well this year, in my opinion. I agree with TheOutlaws posts here for the most part

The Raptors have never played the Cavs at full strength. They also have never played LeBron in the playoffs. Those two things = bad news for the Raps.

Yep, and it was during the regular season.. A handful of teams well below .500 has played the Cavs into a close game until the closing minutes, not just the Raptors.. So, playoffs will be much different.

I would put the over/under at 5 for the number of teams in the entire NBA that Toronto would beat in a 7-game series. They aren't winning a game against Cleveland.

Raps in 4. No really, Cavs at most in 6, though I'm really hoping Raps get to the second round :)

This is basketball, not football or a sport where the losing team really has no chance. Toronto has enough chuckers that they can win a game or two.

Not really. If you can't defend the rim, you aren't beating CLE. Lebron attacks the basket alot more come playoff time.

The Cavs start every season playing like crap. That's why they were 0-2 this year and 1-2 last year. If you think you are playing the same team you should get ready for a big disappointment.

So I hear Bosh is pretty much done for the season.. Now I wouldn't mind playing them at all.

Wouldn't have made any difference. It's not like Bosh was gonna beat us, Varejao has always defended him well.

Hedo went down with an injury as well....something with his nose I guess. Clearly the Basketball Gods don't want Toronto in the playoffs, heh. It sucks though, the Chicago/Toronto race for #8 would have been interesting...
