as for hughes... you people make me laugh... seems half this board was so excited to get hughes and now there is bitching when he plays like....... um........ larry hughes. if it was up to me, graham would get those minutes. hughes hit some big shots, true, but overall, he cant shoot. he never could shoot and he never will be able to shoot. his jumper is broken, just like the rest of our team.

I'm with you on this Fats, when I saw the website devoted to Larry Hughes sucking I knew it wasn't going to be a good sign. The thing is Graham has played so damn well for us. Why wouldn't we keep playing him?

for the love of god, please waive Hughes, Rod.

I can't believe most of you people really wanted him on this team. He's freaking horrible and ALWAYS has been.

here, feel free to bawl your eyes out

Well, I've always said I thought he could be a real problem to the team, so I must not be counted in "you people" :)

This loss really sucks, it would have been so great to be able to beat them...

All this hating on Hughes is amusing. Felton's career shooting averages are close to Hughes'.

The other thing I don't get is that some were busted up that we lost Flip and his bench scoring.

The same Flip that was only shooting 38%/31%/71% from the floor/3/line for us?

Hughes has only played 8 games with us. Give him a little bit of time before you take out a hit on him.

I also think it's pretty obvious that LB's direction to guys like Flip, Hughes, DJ and Hulk is to come in and shoot no matter what - which is what they do.

Yup. Philly's greatest vs Hollywood Thunderlips and the Rampage Jackson of his time.

(didn't want to outright ruin the brain teaser for anyone that cared.)

Just watching the replay and with 2:40 to go in the game and after Felts making a series of questionable decisions, LB goes freaking nuts at him heading into a time out.

He's screaming at him and pointing and remonstrating.

LB. Not the sort of guy I want yelling at me.

No doubt about it, Felton made some bad choices and couldn't get the shots to drop when it counted. He had the chance to lock this game up for us. After we went down by 1, the wheels completely fell off though with the wide open Kirk 3 and the consecutive Hughes f-ups. In addition to the horrendous rebounding performance of course.
