Unfortunately, LeBron has games like this when his shot is just off. Most times it doesn't happen in close games however. Man, what a fabulous game to be outdone by poor free throw shooting.

Well, I guess the positive of all this is the Celtics can grab that 3rd seed... Which means they can give Orlando a tough time in round 2... And if by chance they beat Orlando, I don't think there's any way the Celtics can beat us in a 7 game series...

I'd love to see Boston and Orlando go at it...

But yea, I'm not sweating it, cause the Cavs have showed 3 times this year they can turn it up on the Celtics...

spank the Celtics in the second round and put KG in his place while letting the Magic cruise through Atlanta to the ECF

Well, ATL still have a one game lead over the C's for the 3rd seed.. Both of them have a pretty cupcake schedule the rest of the way.

I've never seen a mod that whines as much as you--or actually, come to think of it, any poster... it's disgusting to read and yet I'm drawn back to this board just to see what your next complaint is...it's fascinating...

regardless, good game- you guys are obviously the better team at this point, and although the collpase down the stretch once again was troubling, I'm happy that we were finally able to pull one out..hope to see you guys in the playoffs...

Just because they tried to talk trash, I want Boston in the playoffs. But I'm not sure if they can make the second round . Sweeping those grandpa's will be fun. Mr.Intensity would probably cry, though.

In the end didn't matter that we lost since LA continues to get blown out lately.

Refs were horrible all game. How about KG grabbing onto Lebron's arm late in the 4th...no call. Tony Allen did the same thing to Mo Williams on the Rondo layup. Resulted in 3 technicals....5 point swing right there. How about when they lobbed the ball to KG and it hit the backboard yet the refs called a foul? On who? The backboard? lol....just some hilarious calls that made ya go "Hmmmm...."

The Refs were aweful, but that's what a game is going to look like in the playoffs. Home team will get the benefit of the doubt.

I'm not sure what LeBron is up to right now be he's just off. Its not the jumper, those days happen, and overall that's been fine. Right from the start of the game yesterday James was completely out of character, forcing up shots which he never does (that early). By the 3rd or 4th possession I could tell something weird was going on.

Refs sucked, but we lost because we were terrible from the free throw line. That's the second game (at least) this season that we lost because we suck from the free throw line.
