Filed to ESPN: Mcnabb to Redskins for 2nd-rd pick this year and either a 3 or 4 next year depending on certain conditions.
Great deal for Washington!

Re: McNabb to the Redskins - Unknown compensation
I should know this, but are the Redskins good enough that McNabb will be able too beat the Eagles and make them wish they hadn't done him like this?
But also, wtf.. in division?

Re: McNabb to the Redskins - Unknown compensation
They got some pretty good return for him. But to trade him in the division??

In the division. Wow, can't believe that.

Damn. That's gonna be quite the storyline when these teams meet up.
Good return though.

I was hoping it would be. Or the Cardinals. Both teams could have used a QB and would be contenders with McNabb. Bonus of it being the Vikings, no more "will he" or "won't he" stories for the next few months about Farve.

They claim McNabb asked to be traded to the Redskins? Suicidal with their offensive line.

Re: McNabb to the Redskins - Unknown compensation
why would washington want him.. dont see how this helps them make a push in the playoffs..
eagles- disappointing that they traded a franchise icon for marginal return. i know a 2nd round pick is good but mcnabb was the face of the franchise and still productive. i could understand if somebody offered you a hershel walker like trade but a 2nd round pick?? You sold out your franchise quaterback for the last 10 years for a 2nd round pick.. kolb better step up

Excellent compensation for Philly, a 2010 2nd, and a 2011 4th-round pick. From my understanding the 4th can possibly become a 3rd depending on how McNabb does.

Re: McNabb to the Redskins - Unknown compensation
The Skins already have a pretty good defense. They need to shore up the offensive line and they could do that if they take Okung with the 4th pick. Put Okung in there at left tackle, they've got Dockery at the left guard spot, Rabach at center, and Hicks as their right tackle.
And they could still trade Campbell for a second round pick, or whatever they can get out of a team like Buffalo and Oakland.

You can't be serious about Campbell netting a 2nd round pick.

Re: McNabb to the Redskins - Unknown compensation
Am I crazy for thinking it though? Some team who is desperate enough to be a QB will make the move, and Campbell has a strong arm (just not accurate). Al Davis loves the deep ball.
