Another WIN!

Post#1 » by SApuro_ » Sun Apr 4, 2010 10:42 pm

another win against top team: Cavs, Celtics, Magic, and now Lakers have all fallen to the spurs over the past 2 wks.

We are playing good and Manu has kicked it into another level. Perfect time of the year to get things going. Hopefully Georgie is ok. Looking good going into the post season. Remember anything can happen. GO SPURS GO!

We're playing well at the right time. Plus we're shorthanded. It just annoys me that came out of the gate so sluggish, we could've been a Top 3 seed easily by now.

Trade Tony?

Damn man I was so down on the Spurs like a week or two ago but now i'm all hyped up again. My worry remains on which Ginobili we see when Tony gets back. What's been obvious for the past 4-5 years is that Tim is always the second option now. Gino was basically the 1st option in 2005, TD 2nd, Tony 3rd. And by 2007, it was Tony 1st, Tim 2nd, and Manu as a 3rd option. I think we need to keep Manu as a 1st option but like Van Gundy said, Tony has a dominant personality offensively and the question really is which Tony comes back?

Tony Parker, as a starter, being the 1st option, looking to find his rhytem and not focused on defense like George Hill will disrupt every step forward we've made for the past month. All of that will just go to waste.

We need to have it the way it was in 2005. Manu as our MVP.

Yeah. I am concerned with Manu's role once TP comes back as well. He needs to be our focal point on offense. He's playing fantastic ball right now.
