The Hawks really made this "race" tougher than it had to be by losing to Philly. That's a pretty puzzling loss in hindsight.

Its the Hawks. Does anyone suffer more puzzling loses than them?
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

This was a predictable loss. I just lament the inconsistent effort during it (at least that's how it looked to me).

I wonder if Maurice Evans ever resents Marvin starting like Josh Childress did?

Is it just me or was Jon Barry right when he said we rely to heavily on a big play to spark us? We always seem to get going off something sweet, like a Smoove block or a big dunk.

I can't take the Knicks or Warriors systems seriously anymore. Earl Barron has 17 and 18 vs Boston.

LOL-refs just cheated Gallinari out of a 3. The Knicks stole the ball and Lee scores with 7 seconds left to put NY up by 3.

Celtics lost to the Knicks. All is well.

Boston looks more pathetic than the Hawks.

Boston actually drew up the same exact "play" vs the Hawks when we played them in 08. Rondo couldn't find anyone to pass to so he just dribbles around the perimeter until there was about .3 seconds left and threw up a 30 footer.

Milwaukee beating Chicago would basically give them the tie breaker for the 6th seed.

^Im kinda shocked they didnt foul Rondo. He held it for about 6 seconds. Barron is nice little player. Great hustler. I like T Douglas. I think the Hawks missed out on every PG in the draft.

Milwaukee doesnt worry me a ton without Bogut. The fact that Salmons morphs into LeBron when he plays us, disturbs me.

That might be it. It's like they get into a lackadaisical mood and only stir when something exciting happens on the floor. If no one steps up to wake the rest of the team up then we could fall behind by 20 before it changes. Some coaches actually call timeouts when games when they sense stuff like this starting to happen, but I suspect Woodson does it based on some formula of you call timeout when the other team scores x number of points in a row or the margin becomes y.
