I misread Art VII, Sect 5 (c) (3) (i) to include the first year of the extension. I guess the first year could decline more than 10.5%.
Regardless, I think that the both of us in our different ways have shown FGump that there could have been a signing bonus included in Kobe's extension. That being said, I don't think there was one.
