We had to sign Grabow to an abysmal contract

Tyler Colvin should have been batting there. Is Lou asleep still?

Put a rookie lefty against a veteran closer throwing absolute gas. That wouldn't have ended well but I suppose it couldn't have hurt.

This team will finish 4th or lower in the Central with around 75 wins. I'm beginning to see it.

Maybe he would have taken the bat off his shoulders unlike Soto. I hope he takes his pot and gets the **** out of this league because he's God awful. Should have drafted Wieters. But our organization is too inept.

This is going to be your 2010 Chicago Cubs. Good starting pitching with little offense and a terrible bullpen to blow close leads and terrible managaing. This is a 75 win team.

Turns to Blackhawks, who are dominating at a necessary time.

The Blackhawks are honestly the only thing keeping me inane because the state of Chicago sports sucks right now.

At least the Cubs are going to make this season painless if they suck out of the gate. Won't have to follow them over the Summer.

The Blackhawks have score just as many goals tonight (6) through 2 periods than the Cubs have scored through 18 innings this season (7)

160 to go. need a real 8th inning guy tho.

marshall proved last year and is proving again that hes the best and most consistent guy that we have in the bullpen.

Might as well write off the Cubs until, say, 2015 on that basis. Me, I've expunged baseball entirely from my life. It sucks anyways, so you're not missing much.

Return to Chicago Cubs
