MLS has not updated their site since the end of last season. Toronto FC has not updated their site.

What a joke of an organization. How completely unprofessional. I am trying to find scores, and it's just telling me **** about the end of last season, with scores from the end of last season.

ROFL, what a joke league

MLS got a whole new site... and it sucks.... I can't find a score anywhere.

For a professional league their site is horrible.

It seems like a really bad idea to have that game in Toronto in late November. I wish we actually had a chance at playing in it. SI predicts that we will come in last place in the Eastern Conference. That includes finishing behind the Philadelphia Union.

Why play one game if you are just going to retire...

This team needs a major rebuild and needs to fire most of the front office people.

I have been avoiding this thread. Our team is a disaster. They need to clean house and start all over. I want all management and every player gone except for Frei, Cronin, and Attakora.

don't worry. as always, mo is looking at 2 to 3 players to add. he just has to finalize the contracts. the same story he has given throughout the 3 previous years.

Nick Garcia is the worst defender in the world. We suck.

They even mentioned the 'sea of red' which the Raps started first..

They like to show our crowd. TFC finally gets a win but we were dominated before the red card according to reports.

MLS set to expand to Montreal, U.S. southeast

Major League Soccer hopes to announce another expansion soon — this time, in Montreal.

Commissioner Don Garber says the league also would like to return to the southeast, either to Atlanta or South Florida.

"We're confident that we'll be able to announce a 19th team shortly, and our hope is that 19th team will be in Montreal," he said Thursday during a meeting with the Associated Press Sports Editors.

The league has 16 teams this season and has added franchises for 2011 in Portland, Ore., and Vancouver.

While Miami and Tampa Bay once had MLS teams, they were eliminated after the 2001 season.

"Eventually, I'm sure we'll get back to the southeast broadly and Florida more specifically," Garber said. "I'm not quite sure what the timing is of that, but I can't image this league will be fully expanded without having a team in Florida or south of Washington, D.C. We continue to have discussions in Atlanta.

"I think Atlanta's a good sports market, also has some competition for its size, but lots of youth participation and a massive and growing Mexican population in Atlanta. Those are probably the two places where we look, South Florida and Atlanta, as the next places in the southeast."

I am happy for Montreal because their organization deserves it.

TFC are currently leading Seattle 1-0 on CBC with 25 minutes left.

It is disappointing to see so many empty seats but not surprising.

Beautiful 2nd half by TO. Goals during game play, and goals by someone other than Dero are key. And awesome goaltending by Frei.

Gotta keep this up.

I thought Julian de Guzman had a great game today.

He really controlled the mid field well and gave us a lot of chances to push forward.

I'm guessing about 20 people watched the game last night on V considering the Habs had a game 7 and the game was not available in Ontario because of the Jays.

It was a good game though, extremely chippy and really set the tone for the tournament. I think Montreal is easily our biggest rival and I can't wait for them to join MLS so we can see them 4 times a year instead of 2.

The game was available in Ontario if you have Sportnet East and West(?). I am very happy with the win but hopefully we do much better against Vancouver. I don't know why we always play so poorly against them. That was either a very nice finish by Barrett or poor defence by the Montreal defenders. I tend to think it was bad defence or we would see him score a goal like that in the MLS at least once.

I have no idea what Roberto Brown was complaining about. He clearly punched Garcia in the face.

I think the Wall of Honour is a fantastic idea but I can't help but think the "honour" has already been cheapened with two members already on it.

Most franchises in sports wait years before honouring retired players. The Blue Jays for example have only honoured 9 people in their over 30 year history... The rate TFC has started we will have honoured almost 20 people in that time....

Big win today.

The wind helped out on the first goal, but the rest was all thanks to quick crisp passing.

The team is really starting to develop a good chemistry.
