I guess a team like the Timberwolves this year, who have been giving everyone a go, might give a small contract for 1 year, but that would be about it.

The trick with embedded text got old really fast because they overdid it, ditto with the "super slo-mo high res camera" trick. They completely underused Bill Murry and he was killed off in an embarrassingly stupid way. The narrator is whiny and immature, which is sometimes fun, but grates on my ears particularly when it becomes clear that the filmmakers want, desperately, to make a "cult film," a "clever cult film," without actually, you know, bothering to make a decent movie first. The ending, in particular, is jaw-droopingly boring. Not just stupid - boring. That's the real kicker.
I got the same feeling from this movie as I get from watching bright and energetic college students performing a skit. A few laughs, lots of energy, some clever bits, some sophomoric bits, but overall distinctly amateur, without any depth. And it goes on too long; your last few smiles are polite, and held until your muscles ache.
I saw the movie under the influence of 3-4 gin-and-tonics, and that was nowhere near enough. Maybe something stronger is required, or I just watch a movie that doesn't freaking SUCK next time.
Fluffer rant over.
