Okur's Achilles?

Post#1 » by tylero87 » Thu Apr 8, 2010 5:54 pm

Anyone heard any word on how serious the injury is? Does this hurt the Jazz considerably if Okur can't go in time for the playoffs. I remember last year he was out for the first two or so games against the Lakers.

Could this be a opportunity for Fes to step in and help the Jazz's defense in the paint? Speaking of Fes he missed last night's game with a sore throat and migraines....wtf?

SO Jazz fans, how bad or beneficial can Okur's injury be?

I honestly think if last night weren't such a blow out, Okur wouldn't have left the game. I'm sure he'll be back by next week. As long as it's just minor tendonitis, a few days rest and some good PT will get him into shape in no time.

I'm starting to wonder about Fes.

On the radio Locke said something to the effect of Fes not "making it" for long in the league. I remember that he was specifically referring to personality traits, and followed up by commenting on how fans really aren't aware of his situation.

How often have you seen Fes on the bench lately? Have you noticed Koufos has been getting his minutes for the last few weeks? Seems like he has been having a few "migraines" and other minor setbacks lately. When Sloan questions Fesenko's ability to take things seriously, maybe there's really a deeper issue. I don't want to start throwing out random hypothesis; just wondering what everyone else thinks.

I hope that its just migraines. Earlier in the year there was a thread talking about Fes' absence during a practice. Maybe thats what set him in Sloan's doghouse.

I think Fes has some sort of disorder that makes it practically impossible to make it in the NBA, but I have no idea what it is.

That would explain a lot. Is that really what it is, or are you just guessing?
