Wiz fan here. He started off solid for us but you could tell he was still rusty. Still, he was way better than any other PG on our roster and thats why we moved him into the starting lineup. Again, started off solid but then kept progressing higher & higher. He's been looking awesome. Even at 1st with us he was the same ole Shaun with NO J but now his J has looked great as we are posting him up on the small PG's and he's getting closer shots. He has a nice inside J and good turnaround moves. He's been killing stars like Rondo & Chis Paul in the post. He's just too big. The crazy thing that has caught all our fans off guard is his actual leaping ability. He's a great finisher around the rim and has had some awesome dunks where it looked like there was no way he could dunk it. He's getting up high and hanging in the air a long time.

The problem is Gil will be back. I think he likes our team, Flip, and likes the fact that we gave him a chance so we will always be his fall back choice but if he thinks he has a legit chance to start then I think he would bolt. I could see him starting for NY next year if they make some moves for a star or 2. He would be a perfect fit in that system. He looks back to form and maybe even better than that.

I thought he looked great tonight, but I'd be a little careful on the full time starterg talk. Maybe a platoon position would be better. Given his past history it is quite a leap of faith to hand the keys to him solely. The full grind of big minutes comes with a lot of risk.

I'm pulling for the kid either way.

I remember when Livingston and Bassy were the point guards of the future. Shame. Livingston is in a good position right now though, playing for a team with nothing to lose and getting a nice feel for his game back. Good for him.
